LEGO Halloween Ideas: With Exclusive Spooky Scene Model (Lego Ideas)

This is an ideas book, so it is mostly pictures without instructions (except for the very small kit included). Younger children might find it difficult to replicate what they see and it does use a fair number of specialized pieces so improvisation might also be necessary (and difficult for the younger set).Having said that, it has a lot of fun and doable projects. I create a Lego Halloween train set up every year, so it works great for me. The small kit includes a skeleton minifig and a small bat and spider, which are nice additions.

Bought for my niece and nephew - loved it

The book itself is pretty cute and has fun pictures to look at. The small tombstone and skeleton build that is included is nice. However my pumpkin is brown not orange! I know it was just a simple sorting mistake but a brown pumpkin looks rotten, I guess next to a tombstone and a dead guy is fitting. Yet it would be nice to have gotten orange.

Fun for the holidays

My son was so excited for this book but unfortunately we couldn’t build many of the scenes. A lot of the Lego pieces used are unique and we didn’t have the right pieces. We have tons of legos so we weren’t expecting not to have enough of the right ones.

Ideas were great but despite thousands of blocks, the small, flat bases they call for are not there. I was unable to find and kits that had them in.

Great Halloween gift for a 6 years old Lego fun

It’s ok. Comes with pieces to create one Halloween scene. The book has lots of cool Halloween build ideas, but unless you have all these special parts, you can’t build any of them.

Es un atinado estímulo el que venga con un mini-escenario para crear, que el montón de ideas estén bien representadas en cada foto y tenga una amplia variedad de técnicas de armado. Infortunadamente el problema con gran parte de ellas es que su elaboración amerita el hecho de tener muchas veces set's o minifiguras que no son "convencionales", si se intenta elaborar ideas grandes o elaboradas, las piezas que te sugieren no las encuentras muchas veces en las cajas de tipo "Classic" o en los cubos. Lo recomiendo si realmente tienes variedad de piezas, de lo contrario te vas a frustrar muy rápido...

Lindo acabamento. Conjunto de peças bem divertido. Muito boas ideias. Porém algumas ideias usam muitas peças de formatos especiais. Isso dificulta muito a a execução do projeto. Mas ainda assim, eu gostei.

The picture is a bit misleading. The book does contain the 30 pieces needed to build the skeleton with the grave, pumpkin, bat and spider. None of the bricks shown on the picture (in the window in the shape of a bat) are accurate. I do prefer the pieces that ARE in the book instead of the random ones shown on the picture. As for the book itself, it's full of imaginative ideas that are sure to put you in the spirit of Halloween.

Awesome ideas, however Lego needs to sell more kits that have the pieces to make them.
