Outstanding quality and low cost
The PTNHZ universal catch can I received totally exceeds my expectations. The item is very well made, nicely finished, and was 100% spotlessly clean. The anodized finish gives it a really first class look. My installation (2015 Impala 3.6L) was just the type of challenge I had expected, especially with the very limited available space under the hood. After finally selecting a location, I made up one simple mounting bracket from a piece of aluminum angle to attach to the adjustable mounting bracket included with the kit.One thing a couple of other customers have noted is that the included mounting bracket is not made from heavy gauge steel. I suspect it will be of adequate strength. -time will tell, and if I need to make up a heavier mounting bracket, I certainly will. -no big deal. A second thing to note is this: The item description heading says "3/8 inch NPT". That is absolutely not true. Granted two of the included hose fitting certainly fit 3/8" fuel/evap hose very nicely, but the threads certainly are NOT NPT. (national pipe thread (tapered)). The ports and fittings are in fact a straight thread (probably metric), are very well made anodized aluminum, and the fittings include O-rings for a nice vacuum-tight seal. BTW, I purchased Gates brand 3/8" fuel/evap hose from NAPA.Some other thoughts: There are no instructions, which in my mind is totally fine because anyone purchasing this item should already know full well what they are purchasing, why they are buying it, exactly what it is used for, and the correct section of their particular crankcase ventilation system in which to install it, as well as proper flow directions, etc. Those are some of the things you should know. There are PLENTY of videos and other detailed information out there on the inter-web about these so-called "catch cans," what they are for, and whether or not you need one.In summary, I suggest you read all the reviews on this item as well as other competitive items. There is a ton of valuable information out there. As for me personally I suspect this item will serve my needs perfectly. AND I didn't spend a hundred dollars (or more) on it.Update 20 Aug 2021: I have since purchased two more, and have fully disassembled and inspected them. (as well as making a couple of mods to them, but that is another story and not a necessary part of this update today). The important point I want to make with this update is this: When you inspect it for cleanliness, PLEASE also remove the brass filter and check for metal shavings under it. On all three of mine I discovered a metal shaving hiding there. This flows directly into the outlet port, and since it is under the brass filter, it would not be trapped by it. Just saying, be sure to check yours !!Otherwise, they are very nicely finished units, and are amazingly low cost.

So far so good
For the price this catch can seems to be a good unit so far, I'll report back if something bad happens, as some purchasers reported there were some loose filings and whatnot but it's a cheap part. Let's go through my install!1: Tear the whole thing apart; I found a couple of spots where loose material was still hanging in threaded portions so knock that out with a pick or small screwdriver and blow everything out with compressed air, then do a good visual inspection with a light to make sure there's no other bits that may free themselves to get sucked in.2. Prepping threads; on my particular application (which should/will be the case for most cars you're installing this in the PCV line) any air that gets sucked in will be a vacuum leak and will make the car run like garbage, the included fittings are all O ring style but just to be safe I put some liquid thread sealant on the cap that blocks off where the included breather would go and the nipples for the pcv line, I didn't do the cannister body because it would make future service a headache but I did put a touch of antiseeze on the body threads to help it screw together because it does feel a little rough out of the box.Install! On my car I zip tied it to a solid point until I could figure out a permanent mounting spot for it (Miatas have fairly tight enginenbays!) Ran the line from my pcv valve to the IN port and then to the intake manifold from the OUT port, the included nipples had a pretty good grip on the hose I used but for the sake of not creating a vac leak I did use a few zip ties to clamp my hoses on.Test; before you go run off and enjoy not sucking oil in your intake its a great idea to start the car and verify there aren't any air leaks in the system. You can verify this by feeling around all the components for air movement and/or spraying something like carb clean near the fittings and listen for your RPMs to rise, if they don't you're good to go!All in all at the moment I'd buy this again, install was maybe 30 mins including taking it apart and cleaning everything, even if this were a $200 unit I'd be taking it apart anyways to do a similar inspection. I'll report back on how well the unit works when I get some miles put on it

No Hosing
I can't wait to install this to the PCV valve, it has the filter/defuser so it will be great for the blowback that I only JUST heard about. I will be ordering another one, probably the smaller one with no diffuser and vented for the valve covers. I heard you cant over depressure the engine, but you can under-pressure it! GoodLuck

Good universal can, does not include hoses
This can is good for the price, but it did require a trip to the parts store for hoses, adapters, and clamps. Going from 1” ID to their 1/2” ID fittings (the larger of the 2) was a chore in itself, and I ended up spending as much on the aforementioned components as I did this kit. However, it is well made and almost as versatile. The adjustable mounting bracket and accessibility made it fairly easy to piece together, and I was able to add some reinforcement baffles. Unfortunately the ports were backwards from what I needed, but it works. Just be prepared to tap into your inner MacGyver.

Worth it
Be prepared to make a custom bracket using their bracket to give you enough space from the mounting point out. I’m making this video seven months after installing the Cannes. The only complaint I have is the valve they send is junk. You’re better to buy some extra bolts so that you can remove it from its bracket.#4x.70 metric screws and the valve threads are a ID 3/8 like your air compressor hose. Don’t use thread tape. Not enough threads. Use gas pipe thread sealer from Lowes. It comes with a brush inside. If not you’re going to have oil leaking down your fender. I learned the hard way
