The journal is designed very well. I love that it has a lock and a rustic feel. The leather cover is crafted and designed very neatly and hold very well. Inside can be a tad difficult to write in but it’s a very nice journal if you have anything special you like to hand write.

I like this journals size , quality , my favorite one for journaling , poetry , or guest comments at my Air BNB and reviews are my small business ...,, lots of potential uses ! Very good quality for the money , the only small hitch was the actual tooled design on the leather did not match the one I requested . Asked for the tree of life motif and got a pentagram , not appropriate for my original use but still give it a high rating for overall quality and size .

I got this as a birthday gift for my sister. She loved it! The paper used inside was especially surprising as it was very thick and appeared to be falsely aged and definitely not at all what I expected. I think that added to the appeal for my sister because as soon as she opened it up she commented on how cool it was. The leather itself was pretty thin and about what you would expect for the price, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the clasp you use to open and close it, extremely sturdy. I’d buy one for myself in the future if I needed a notebook!

I have been giving these leather bond books as birthday presents to the teens I know. Ages 14 to 18 and the girls just love them. It is a more mature version of the "dairy". I include a nice pen and they are journaling. It is a great way to release pent up frustrations, do some creative writing and a way to share when you don't get to see your friends as much as you would like to. The leather bond journal has been VERY WELL received!

The leather is real at least. And I got it for a great price. I wanted it to keep track of recipes, formulas and notes and it is fine for that.

I bought 2 of these, and both are beautiful and a great value for the cost. One was slightly superior; the other had some problems with the binding and when opened fully, the pages hang slightly askew. There is also some arithmetic written in ink on the last page of the same book. This is not a big deal as I kept this book for my own use & gave the perfect one as a giff.

This book is visual BEAUTIFUL! I love it. It looks exactly like the photos. It will be perfect for what I'm using it for. I think my photos make it look more red than it is. I do feel that you need to be careful when handling it. It's not super fragile but definitely not something you'd want to give a young person. For example I have 12yr olds and I don't think that it last in their hands the pages would end up being torn since they are just laced it. But that's why I love it. Definitely recommend.

I originally bought this to make a spell book prop for my kid, using a calligraphy set, that would be a central part of a D&D campaign. I am pleased that the paper is strong and thick enough not to run on the other side or do a complete bleed through.

Me agrado mucho, la verdad por relación calidad precio tenia mis dudas, también or comentarios que encontré donde decían que no era de piel y que tenia acabados malos, pero no es así es una agenda realmente de manufactura artesanal y eso me gusto ver que esta hecha de este modo. si es un poco mas pequeña que el tamaño mostrado en la publicación pero es inapreciable. La forma en que están también las hojas ensabladas al lomo me agrado mucho, en un estilo de libro antiguo.definitivamente volvería a adquirir otra versión para libro de sombras

After a lot of research into various journal options on Amazon, I am very happy with this one! It does not have the problem of dye bleeding which is very common with darker stained leather journals such as this. The design of it is gorgeous from every angle, and the back is just as beautifully done as the front. The clasp is secure and aesthetically pleasing, and the paper was much better quality than I expected; nice and thick, good for sketching and inking! It far exceeded my expectations,especially in its price range!

Although the leather cover looks good, the paper used inside looks very cheaply bound. Looks like they have grabbed some exercise books and just rebound the cover. When turning the pages to write in it is not very practicable. Already some pages have begun to come apart. Too scared to use it in case it all falls apart.
