Weber 6414 Caster Wheel (Includes Caster Insert)

I have a 25 year old weber genesis so the old casters and mounts were crumbling. this fit perfect and works excellent.

The Weber 6414 Caster Wheel (Includes Caster Insert) fits the old Weber Silver Genesis (A/B/C) BBQ Grills models made in the late 90s and early 2000s--when they made great, long lasting grills that were simple. I refurbished four Genesis models (1 Silver A, 1 B and 2 Cs) and the ones that had these original little caster wheels all needed replacing. To preserve the life of these, it is best to lift the one end and carry the grill if going across rough ground or concrete.

My old Weber grill's casters were literally falling apart after more than 10 years. I replaced them with these and it now rolls around like new.

Perfect replacement for an old Silver A. Not as sturdy or as well constructed as the manufacturer original. Smaller diameter wheels. Could probably find better caster wheels that would work with the plastic caster insert.

Simple installation, OEM product was slightly more than a copy. Well worth it.

I have an ancient Weber Performer grill. After 25 years, the locking casters froze up. I contacted Weber for the correct part number and then ordered here because the price was best. The wheels snapped into the existing plastic blocks without a problem.

the caster inserts did not fit correctly and had to be modified larger by wrapping them with duct tape.
