I was constantly scooting a 2 cube shelf around on laminate floor and finally bought these and I’m kicking myself I didn’t sooner. It’s so easy now to move it to clean, and I can even clean under it with the gap. They feel sturdy, and were easy to install, rolling is smooth. Very happy with them!

What I appreciated about this cabinet, besides its "drop-dead" design, was how well packaged and how quickly it was delivered. I've assembled plenty of knockdown furniture recently, but this manufacturer thought of everything. However, here are some tips: You definitely need a power screwdriver; a flashlight (if you buy the black/natural combo); and lots of patience! Assembly of the first cabinet took me 3 days on and off. Once I figured out what I was doing, I assembled the second cabinet while watching the Emmys! BTW I forgot to mention that I modified the 1st cabinet to accommodate my vacuum cleaner. That slowed assembly considerably. The mod involved cutting an opening in the center of the fixed shelf. That's when I discovered that the shelf had a corrugated cardboard substrate. Hmm. I also added 2.5"H casters to the bottoms for ease of movement. They were first attached to 13.5 x 2 inch plywood strips which attached to the cabinets with Alien tape. To accomodate my upright vacuum cleaner, in addition to the modded shelf, I also removed the bottom adjustable shelf. So, I still need to attach inset cabinet door stops on the bottom half of the cabinet because the shelf that I removed would have stopped the doors from swinging into the cabinet. We are extremely happy with their outcome!

Works great. You will have to drill starter holes in the cube bottom for these casters. Make sure you drill holes slightly smaller than the the screws.You will have to supply your own screws, which will need to be about 1/4-inch less in length than the thickness of the bottom board so that the screws don’t come through the other side of the board. Although this might sound daunting for those folks that may not mechanically inclined, it really is no big deal. That said, it would have been much better if they had included the screws AND pre-drilled the holes for the consumer. Thus the 4 stars rather than 5.

I purchased these for a dehumidifier that came with 1" casters and one had broken. These 2" casters were a perfect upgrade and although I had to slightly modify the sheet metal bottom (screws not needed) of the dehumidifier, they work perfectly and is easier to roll over carpet.

I needed a sturdy set of casters for a large computer case and these worked perfectly.Mounting hole's are 1" on centerI used #6 32X1/2 machine screws to mount these to my computer case. Had plenty of thread leftover. For a cleaner install, 1/4" length would have been nicer.My case with components and water cooling system weighs over 50lbs. and these casters are working perfectly.Good price for a set of 4.These casters do NOT lock so if you need a locking set, you might want to look at different ones.

Love these casters!I recently installed a laminated floor, and put these casters under most of my home furniture, including:computer desks, fireplace, bed and coach, TV stand, IKEA glass display, all dressers!So now most of my furniture gets easily moved with finger press, super convenient!These casters seem to be a good quality, quite heavy duty and easy to install.Also have to mention that the price of the casters is the best I could find for similar casters, considering this is a full set of 4 casters.The price on these casters shifts unpredictably from a maximum of $20 to a minimum of $5.I would recommend installing Camelizer to track and catch the price at its minimum.Purchased for a full price without discount or solicitation to write a review.Hope the info was helpful, and good luck with your choice!
