This TF card extender just works, the push to eject feature is nice and also means the card inserts fully when in use as well. Short enough to be easily managed, long enough to stay out of the way. It just works. I use it with my pi5, I have an NVMe drive hooked up to it as a boot drive for Raspberry OS which the pi boots from if no TF is present, if a TF is present it boots from the TF so I have Recalbox on a TF for playing classic games on. Using the extender makes it easy to insert and remove even with the pi in a case so switching from regular OS to Recalbox and back is quite easy. I also use one of these with my Ender 5 because it's TF slot is a pain and the extender makes using it much easier. I recommend this extender should you have a use for one.

Micro SD card extender male end does not properly engage retaining clip. Does not make connection to contacts as eject spring pushes the cable out of socket. Cable does not even make to the micro SD card socket (if I make this extender into a loop, it does not even plug in) Male plug of extender is ~0.5mm less wide than standard micro SD card. Garage tolerance that is unlikely to be a batch variation, all of these will be trash.

This worked perfectly, fit well, and is the perfect cable to make it so I can actually remove my micro ss card. Seems to be well made and fit my application well.

Bought this for my Sovol Sv03 printer. It is the right length, sticks to the frame well. My only complaint is that it doesn't read unless you take it out of the card slot on the printer and put it back in every time you swap cards.

Like a few of the other reviews are saying, the printer will most likely not recognize when put the card in or take it out of this thing because the mechanism for that is when you click the card in and out of the slot on the printer itself. This is addressed in some printers by choosing the option "Change Media" in some more up-to-date firmware. Not really a great solution in my opinion. My biggest complaint is that it is very difficult to get the card out when you put it in the slot. The plastic case makes it so you have an extremely small part of the card left sticking out to grab onto when you need to take it out. (see pic) I've ended up just unplugging the entire extender every time cause at least the end of it is longer than a micro sd card and easier to grab.

Cheap solution to add an external microSD port for the screen on my ender 3d printer. Now for any updates I don’t have to pull the whole thing apart.

Used this to relocate the sd card slot on my laser engraver. It works, and is now much mote convenient to load cut files. The cable is a bit broad and unwieldy, but i was able to fit it with a 90degree bend without issues.
