Great alternative to buying Pods weekly
I typically don't review items, but after over a month of "testing" the product I felt motivated to review based on my experience and to help those looking for an alternative to buying PODS from Nespresso weekly/monthly, especially in light of everything else going on.Overall review: Great product, works well if you follow instructions and take care of the Pods you are reusing.Pros:* Inexpensive* Choose your favorite "flavor" of expresso to reuse* Easy to setup / refill once you know the steps* Can re-use pods multiple times* Kit will work and only need to buy aluminum foil seals when you run out (after 100 refills)Cons:* Eventually (after 100 refills) you have to buy new Aluminum Foil Seals* You have to have usable Nespresso Vertuo pods before you can start (at least 1)* Not going to be Nespresso quality* If you are not careful can be a little messyOverall the product works well for those looking for an inexpensive alternative to buying Vertuo pods at $1.10 per pod. If you buy this kit at $25 (or less) you get 100 refills and if your coffee cost $20 your actual cost per pod is closer to $0.45 per cup vs. $1.10. This is good savings if you are watching the budget and the costs go down over time if you are only paying for new Foil Seals. Some advice:* For those that complained about the pods sticking. This can be resolved if you do one of the following: 1) Take the pod out immediately after it is finished and don't let it sit in there afterward or 2) use a spoon or something to release it. It sticks because the heat and glue over time bind slightly, but this does not mess up your machine. * It is important to SEAL the pods with the bottom of the brush like instructions say to get a tight seal or you will have spilled coffee. Seal it VERY WELL by pressing it down after...again on the instructions* USE ESPRESSO GRIND, not coffee (even if doing a larger pour). The machine is designed for espresso grind not coffee grind* Don't damage or poke pods after you use them. A few small dents don't matter but large dents don't workI have re-used one pod 5+ times with no issues and this review is a month after I started using it. So have had success with reusing about 15 pods each one at least twice, so I can confirm that this product works well if used as instructed.

Great kit to reuse Nespresso vertuo pods with some tips!!
The media could not be loaded. This kit allows easy alignment of aluminum foil with the reused cups if you are using their brand of foil (mainly 64 mm diameter with food grade glue). The reused cups need to have their original foil completely removed. After that, just follow the instructions to tug foil that extends over the edge of cups under. It won't cover the bar codes under neath the cups except one place that has extra foil to help people lift it out of holding paper. Just avoid covering bar code at that point.Works really well! And it is easy to rip foil to clean cups after usage due to strong foil and glue.[Update with tips]Have used foils for probably more than 500. Still the best.1. Foil lid (64 mm ) is not too large if it is wrapped around the edge to make it secure while not covering bar code. There could be accidental spill if foil only attached from the top. Even with the new kit, it is still better to wrap around edge than straight down.2. The original lid has plastic lining to make it strong but I never have any broken lid from this foil. Do make sure original lid is removed completely to avoid sharp edges that can cut through this foil when under pressure.3. Some reported coffee grain leaked into cup. I found it can be minimized to none most of the time, if proper amount of coffee is used and pressed. Pod should be level seated properly. Occasionally it may appear pumped water cannot go through and machine stop with a red led, a second press will get it resumed and completed.4. Due to glue, it is better to eject the pod right after use so it will not glue to the pod holder underneath once become cold. In case the pod is not picked up by the metal and still seated (particularly after pod become cold), make sure use one hand to hold the pod holder (the grey one that is attached to a spring underneath) while using the other hand to gently remove used pod. This will avoid excessive force to unlodge the pod holder. Once the pod holder is unlodged from the spring and both come out, very likely you will need to send the machine back for service if still under warranty. The machine won't work properly or reliably even if you are able to push pod holder/spring back in.

Worked Better than I had Expected
Having a Keurig for many years that works well with third-party refillable plastic k-cups, initially I was a little skeptical about 'hacking' my Vertuo machine by reusing the pods from the sample box I received with my Breville machine. I wanted something that worked like the refillable k-cup, where all I had to do was scoop my coffee in and go. But seeing such few options available, and also seeing the poor reviews they seemed to have, i hesitantly went with this option.I've been pleasantly surprised so far. Sure, cutting off the foil lids of my Vertuo pods, filling with coffee, brushing off excess, affixing a new foil, and sealing the rim make for a few more steps than I'd like, but I've been happy with the results thus far. No hiccups from the machine or quality of espresso to speak of.The one thing I will say is that I don't know how many times the same Nespresso pod can be reused. I can see that after 4-5 uses, the bottom dome of the pod is starting to see some wear. So from my perspective it seems like these will wear out eventually, and more 'official' Nespresso pods will be needed to continue brewing. Also the pod will occasionally get stuck after brewing and won't slide down into the receptacle. Not a big deal, it just needs to be coaxed out.Overall I'm fairly happy with the experience so far. If there is eventually a better reusable option, I'll surely switch, but in the meantime this kit has worked well.

Enjoy your Nespresso without breaking the bank!!
Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!! I was ready to get rid of my Nespresso machine because the pods were so expensive. Then I ordered these!! Love the espresso it makes and for a fourth the price. They work great!
