I live out in the desert. It rarely rains. These past several month we had INCREDIBLE/AMAZING FITS of rain/downfall that blew us all away - and killed the batteries in my otherwise somewhat "rainproof" keypad. Alas, I had to replace the keypad. While I was at it, I looked for something that would better protect my keypad from the elements. This item was it. So far - it has been WONDERFUL! We have had subsequent torrential downpours/weather like we haven't seen in decades (but hey - "There is NO such thing as global warming!!" ..yeah, right). Anyhoo - so far, this device has managed to save me from having to replace another keybad due to bad weather. I will continue to sing it's praises as long as it keeps up the awesome work. I did try a few other options before landing on this one. So far - THIS thing protects outdoor security keypads the BEST - at least, as far as I can tell!

Works well but isn't perfect. Covers any small part and had to hole to fit my deadbolt.Covers top but in direct Arizona sun, I fear it won't be enough coverage.

I attached the cover with 3M tape to the siding as well as my Ring doorbell to the cover and it’s been holding up great so far. It definitely protects the camera from rain even when the wind is strong while it’s raining, it doesn’t get wet. Even though I am able to view all sides through the camera, the Ring doorbell does not detect motion to the Left and Right sides of my fence due to the cover which means I am only being notified if there is someone right on the patio or walking by the fence to the front. Other than that, I am happy with the product.

I bought this for my google door bell. My house faces west, so the google door bell overheats and shuts down. I bought this to keep the sun out. It works, but it drastically limits the sight of the door bell. Oh wells, atleast I have a door bell.

So far we like it. We live in the south where humidity is horrible. Our Ring 2nd gen doorbell kept fogging over every single night. So far this seems to help. If it’s fogged over at all, it’s been very very little as in a maybe a tiny spot. It was kind of a pain to half to take the entire doorbell off and fit inside then reattach it all as one u it to the house, but in the end it was worth it.

Not sure why the listing picture shows it having all those small premade holes if they aren’t on the actual product. It’s got outlines like it should have been punched. It’s a thick plastic too, so no way to punch it out on my own unless I drill through, which I’m not trying to do when it might not even work.Also came with no instructions or anything - just the cover and a foam piece
