Not sure what happened. I had this same case for over a year and loved it! I recently bought a new own (previous one was banged up) and something has changed with the built in screen protector. It is unusable. It "ghost" hits buttons and is constantly hitting things on the touchscreen on its own. I can't tell you how many times it has called people on it's own. The case I purchased last year did not have this issue and was amazing, however now there is definitely something wrong with the screen protector. Looking at other reviews, I am not the only one..

We originally got this because we had to jump start a car that had been in storage for a year. It worked perfectly, and since then we have used it a number of times. Today again, it saved me when my car wouldn't start, and got me to the garage for a new battery. So glad we have this!

Got it in the mail yesterday. It fits the phone well, and was relatively easy to "assemble". I'm just so afraid to break anything I didn't want to man handle the case. I like that you can choose between three colors; that is a thoughtful feature, but I wish the colors were maybe a bit more interesting. Albeit functional and appropriate, black, grey and gold are a little on the snoozy side. If they offered the same case or even just the colored covers in more exciting designs I would definitely buy them. What's really nice about this case is that it adds almost nothing to the phone's weight. it still feels pretty light. I almost wish it had added a little more weight though bc this phone scares me to death and for some reason weight=durability to me hahah. I'm not sure how this company gets away w saying the case only adds .33 thickness to the phone bc it's obviously not the reality, but it's still fine and not bulky. I see what some other reviewers said about the plastic film thing on the Home button opening. It looks a little cheesy. I haven't removed it yet, like some others have, bc I know the second I do that is the the second I will wish I hadn't. But yeah it kinda looks like you're supposed to take it off, which isn't really a good look. The plugs for the jacks are a bit stiff and flick back into place when you try to pry them open, making doing that while driving or in n otherwise quick moving environment pretty unsafe and distracting. Otherwise, everything lines up great, the covers over the volume buttons and sleep button are perfect, I don't have to crush the button just to get a result as is with some other cases. The protective plasticy layer over the phone screen is not the highest quality, and has the rainbowy effect at times and is prone to finger prints that will NOT wipe off w some warm breathe and a t shirt sleeve. The screen looks pretty dirty almost immediately upon using it. But once the phones turned on you really can't see it, just when its off. All in all, I'm happy w my purchase-- good price, fits the phone perfectly, doesn't add much bulk or weight. There really aren't that many super protective cases out there for the 6+ yet. Otter of only has the Commuter version which isn't nearly protective enough, and I forget what Life Proof had going on but I didn't get it whatever it was. Everything is giant rubber tire looking cases that just aren't practical. I'm happy w this happy medium. :) Mu bad got the edge to edge ballistic glass screen cover for his phone as well (not this case just the screen cover), and he loves that also. Def recommend.

Great case.First the cons:- It isn't the grippiest case but not the slipperiest either.- Slight rainbow effect. This can usually be remedied by adding an anti-glare film type screen protector directly to the screen, I did this with my iPhone 5s and it worked perfectly in a Body Glove- Mute button is harder to access but still manageable even with large fingers- The biometric scanner is a little finicky but will still work without removing the thin plastic button cover, but the cover can easily be removed- The screen protector is high gloss and shows every fingerprint and smear so I'm constantly wiping it offNone of these have been deal-killers for meI have had ZERO issues using flash photography with the rear case plate on as others have complained aboutPros:- Nice slim case- Full protection- Easy to install / remove- Backplates swap out very quickly and easily- No noticeable audio distortion- Looks nice- Sync / charging cables fit without issue- Great priceI did remove 1 star due to fingerprints really showing up on the screen protectorWould definitely recommend

This is my second phone case from NewTrent. I got this case primarily because of my great experiences with the other case. I wasn't disappointed - same great case, perfect fit and finish with all buttons readily accessible.There is only one issue which may, or may not, affect you. Between the lens and the flash on the iPhone 6 there is a tiny microphone that is used to enhance clarity during video recording and to balance out ambient noises during calls. That hole is covered on this case.I can only suspect that it was covered to increase the water resistance of the case. I haven't found that it makes much difference but you may have a different experience depending on your environment. I tested it in my car and shooting video in my house. Quite frankly, I hardly ever (rad - never) shoot video so I was really only interested if it affected call quality - it doesn't appear to.This case will not make the phone waterproof but it will make it more splash resistant. I had a friend with and older iPhone that died after he used it during a rain shower. This case should keep that from happening but won't save your phone if you drop it into a pool or the porcelain throne.Another thing to note - not the fault of the case - is that that any case with a clear cover may cause issues IF you already have a screen protector (like Zagg) on your phone. Two screen covers don't play well together but there is no real need to have a permanently attached screen protector with this case.Give it 5 stars if the lack of the microphone access doesn't affect you. I haven't dropped my phone yet (knock on wood) but I expect it to have the same protection as the other NewTrent case I have - outstanding. I'll update my review after I've dropped my phone :)
