Works so well. The lavender is not overpowering but within minutes my pet calms down. Great soft smell. Highly recommended

We have a super anxious Aussie and we were hopeful this would alleviate a little of his anxiety, but after wearing for a few days, there was absolutely no change. We ended up returning it. We have the same item for one our cats and it works amazingly well. Bummed this didn’t work for our Aussie. It was super easy to use-has a slight smell, but not off-putting.

My dog startles easily. He's not anxious all the time, but he'll jump up and bark at the noisy truck going down the street, our front door opening, our neighbors' back door opening, etc. The collar doesn't completely stop the behavior, but it definitely lessens it. With it on, he ignores the more minor disturbances and is easier to distract from barking when the doorbell rings. It's impossible to say if it'll work in your situation, but I certainly recommend trying it before more drastic or expensive measures.

This was recommended to me by my dog trainer. My 8 month old aussie is going through a huge fear stage. I got her this collar hoping it would work. So far its not working, but we will give it some time. I gave it 3 stars because it smells wonderful! Right now my puppy is so frantic and freaked out she isn't even interested in treats or food, so I don't think she is even paying attention to smells.

I bought this for my 16 year old dog who mostly sleeps but has anxiety issues. I got 3 of the cat version for my cats at the same time. Unfortunately the result was the same. The collar doesn't have any way to secure it on the animal. Having it designed to breakaway if needed is fine, but these collars come undone from simple scratching or licking. I was having to put the collars one the cats 4 or 5 times a day because they kept falling off and on the dog every morning. The dog was the only one not to completely lose the collar, and that's because she mostly sedentary. The idea is sound but the product leaves much to be desired. I found a different brand with a similar concept, but that has a latch with an area that breaks away in emergencies, and the cost is similar, I'll keep an eye out to see if Sentry makes improvements on this issue but until then my money is going elsewhere.

Not sure if this worked, or if my dog just adjusted to his life in our home. I know that he got a lot better over time, but we were also training him, and taking him to a trainer. This may have helped, may not have. I'd be curious to see more scientific data.

My pitbull is terrified of fireworks. Its the week after the fourth and randomly someone in the neighborhood will set of just one or two. I bought this collar in the hopes I wouldn’t have to give him meds for just a short term incident. Two fireworks just went off and he ran to me trembling, panting, and whining. This usually lasts for about 20-30 minutes. I put the collar on him and within four minutes he was laying down on me, almost back to normal with just a bit of stressed breathing. Five minutes after that and he’s ASLEEP. Customer for life here!

Put this on as soon as delivered( Oct 1) and this is the result as of today! Clearly DID not work very disappointed! Not worth the money or effort
