I drove myself crazy looking for blackout curtains. I heavily rely on other’s reviews and was torn if I should try these. I bought a pair from one of the inexpensive chain stores because of the reviews but the are garbage so I was very skeptical about ordering these. I ordered navy and think they will be perfect. I’ll attach 2 pictures but I just draped them over my current curtains and rod because they are going in my beach house bedroom in 3 months. One pic is using one curtain, the other pic is with both curtains. They block all the light from the window the light you see is from the door and the top of the curtains. I will hang them as close to the ceiling as I can to eliminate that issue.

Our home has many very large windows, which are very pretty, but it reaps havoc on our utility bills and our decor. In the summer it's blazing hot, in the winter it's horribly cold, and all year round it's super bright, which fades the color of our carpet and furniture. I bought these in a couple of different colors to keep each room a more even temperature and block out the blinding light.These are perfect for what I needed. They are more "light filtering" than "black out" - so for those of you looking for a pitch black room, these are not going to do the job. The beige makes the room more dim, but not dark. The navy, which I used in our sons' room, definitely does make it darker. If you're looking for black out, I would literally go with the black curtains paired with black out horizontal blinds.The fabric is very nice, soft and durable. I tossed them in the dryer with a few fabric sheets just to get the wrinkles out before hanging them and they came out beautifully. They are true to size. I have a triple bay window that measures 105" across the front of the living room. To create a more "full look" I used 4 panels. The loops are very wide and do accommodate wide decorative rods. I like these very much and I plan to buy more of them for other rooms in our house!

I have to admit that I was very skeptical about ordering these without being able to see them first, but I took a chance. They came on time, the order was right and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. There is no thermal layer like I have seen on other more expensive brands. But, they are heavy and definitely blackout curtains. I work a lot of nights and was looking to block out all sunlight during the day... they work and work very well - my room looks like 10pm at 2 in the afternoon on a bright sunny day! I was so pleased with the results, I bought another set for my living room. I bought blue both times, so I can not speak for the other colors. I also have never sent in a review for any amazon product, but felt these deserved one. I must have read 200 reviews of all different curtains before ordering these, so I hope this helps someone who does the same...

The quality of the fabric and stitching is awesome especially when you consider the price! The blackout quality is fantastic I am extremely happy with these curtains. I'm including a photo to show at the blackout ability, on the left are the new ones.

I was very skeptical when I placed my order, as you never really know what you're getting when you order online. Well let me just say that I LOVE these curtains! I ordered the Burgundy and it is a rich and beautiful color. The quality is exceptional, considering the very fair price I paid for them. When I first opened the package and felt the material, I was quite surprised. I did not expect the quality to be so good. I wasn't sure what thermal meant in terms of curtains but these definitely delivered. I also love the fact that they are truly blackout curtains, as the description states. And lastly, these curtains have noticeably helped with the cold drafts from my window. I am waiting to reorder more so I can change all the other curtains in my house. I highly recommend these curtains.

I’m disappointed they raised the price $7 more right after my review. Wanted to buy more but now they’re not affordable for me. However, these are the best blackout curtains I have ever seen in my life and I have tried quite a few in the past few years. Wrinkle free, thick, heavy and durable material and zero defects. Even when the sunlight is hitting the front of my house there is zero light coming through. The only exception is at the very top of the curtains but it is minimal. If you want less light coming through at the top I would suggest that you buy a curtain rod that fits closer to the wall. They are also very energy efficient. As far as noise cancellation? Not sure as I live in a very quiet utopian environment. Overall if you’re on the fence about buying these don’t hesitate. You will fall in love with not only the way these drape and look in appearance, you’ll also fall in love with the quality. You will not be disappointed! I am NOT being paid for this review. I just want everyone to know how great these curtains really are.

Not blackout! It's hard to tell from the pictures but there are patches of the curtain where the light shines through. The material of the curtain has no backing, and seems to be inconsistent and poorly made. The thickness of the curtain is patchy causing some sections to let light through. I work nights and needed a curtain that is completely black out, this was not it.
