For the price it's do able
It's not convenient to remove the key (for valet parking) because you have to take the fob off. You will need to take it off of the ring in order to get the actual key out of the remote. I find that the rings that come with my set are utterly thick and the more I have to undue the ring the more it expands the ring. Eventually you will need to replace the ring.
