I loved it until a few hours ago. It's 3am, Christmas. Kids will soon be racing to the tree.I'd purchased this helmet as a useful gift to put under the tree for our 6 year old daughter, who has recently outgrown her "small" helmet. Until a few hours ago, I really loved it- quality, design, decent price, everything... I thought the graphics looked really lovely, and it's a white background- which increases the visibility of the helmet to drivers, as opposed to a dark color. I thought the design would really appeal to her, while not being too syrupy looking. You know, a "big girl helmet" to replace her pink kitty cat Raskulls one. Yada yadda... These were my "mommy picked a great helmet" thoughts.So anyway, i thought it was great until a few hours ago, when my husband picked it up as one of the last things in the pile of gifts to wrap. He said, "Oh, this is a nice design. It looks just like it's all cracked and smeared with blood."Sigh. He's right, I totally see it now. In fact, I can hardly see it as cherry blossoms any more.So, I'm writing this review because I've had to pluck this gift back out from under the tree. Honestly, I really can't find any fault with the helmet. I still see it as worth 5 stars. The graphics are actually awesome in that they can look like lovely cherry blossoms, AND bloody cracks. However, I just can't un-see the bloody cracks, and I personally can't stomach the image of it on my kindergartener's head as she rides her bike.So, it's awesome, but just not right for us. purchased the punisher skateboard cherry Blossom helmet for my daughters' 11th Birthday. She loves skateboarding and I have purchased a few different types of helmets before we purchased this one. not only does she like it because it looks nice, but she likes the fit and the feel. I no longer need to pester her to put her helmet on when she goes out to ride her skateboard or bicycle.

Excellent helmet. Comes with additional foam to adjust for smaller heads. High quality helmet. Looks great, very durable but the fit is not awesome, slips down toward the back of head

Fantastic,lightweight,great design....Was slightly big but my daughter is only 4 so will be waiting until she grows into it....Looks smart compared to some I’ve seen.

The helmet was better than described. The finish on it was smooth and shiny. With the help of the sizing chart it was a perfect fit.

It was smaller than I thought but it was OK because it fits my wife perfectly so we can safely scooter around town. And not die before I can post about it on my blog www.breathingforher.com

This helmet is cute and matches the skateboard I purchased for my grandaughter, but it's WAY too big for her 9 year old head. It slips all over the place.
