The Best FX Skin Product!
I bought this product along with the "I Can't Believe It's Not Blood" product in order to do a special video project for my channel. We wanted to make a horror skit/short film for our YouTube channel and it is coming along nicely and it is all due to these 2 products. However, the Monster Liquid Latex in particular here is the main base for all of it. So let me tell you guys about it.First, I was looking all over for something that was cheap but could also be used an FX type makeup so we can do our video stuff. Eventually I found this product, I loved the low price, and due to all of the amazing reviews it helped motivate my opinion into purchasing this product. When, I first got the Liquid Latex, however, I had to keep it in on my shelf for the past few weeks since we weren't working on the video until the past couple days, but let's just say this first; it's amazing. When we first opened up the Liquid Latex for application we were shocked at how nice it actually is. I never used Liquid Latex products at all before, but it seem to be just like I expected. To me, it kind of has a similar consistency to Rubber Cement but slightly less thick. The latex goes on the desired area nicely (I recommend using a brush) and it dries quickly enough to apply more layers for a thicker "skin" for all of your creative ideas for it. We, however, were using it mostly to do the face on our antagonist in our video, and after about 20-30 minutes we got it to were we wanted it on our dear friend who plays the role (sorry, no pictures :( ). He expressed that he had no irritation or itchiness from the latex, although, after about a couple hours of filming, his only complaint was that it felt weird because it wasn't his normal face. Anyway, overall this product this is amazing, especially if you are filming a short film or experimenting with design.Pros:-Applies easily.-No irritation or itching (us, anyway)-Lasts until you wash off.-Easy to mold.-Great for photography and short film purposes (we think it would be great for Halloween too)Cons:-Anyone who is allergic to latex cannot use this amazing product.Once again, I hope this review helps those of you who are considering this product. Trust me, I was looking at those jars of that rub on fake skin stuff and everything, but let me tell you, if you really want something to do it's job then this for you. Plus, it works perfectly with other FX products such as fake blood and more. Thanks for your time and I hope this helps.

For resin
I love using this latex on the underside of my resin items.. after the resin cures, this is easy to remove so there are no cured resin drips on the underside.. it is extremely satisfying to pull off as well.

Works Great as an adhesive
Used this for the viral yarn makeup challenge going around this was my first time using latex . Product kinda became clumpy for some reason and had a strong smell it didn’t smell to good but i got over it lol . It worked well as an adhesive for my yarn stuck very well and it dries fast . I would actually buy it again for the price I think it was a good product it didn’t break out my skin afterwards either.

Perfect for resin projects
The media could not be loaded. I haven't used this brand yet but I don't use it to make fake skin or masks. I use it to put on the back of my resin projects to keep the drips from getting on it. I apply it around the bottom edges, let it dry, then pour my resin. When the resin dries, the liquid latex pulls the resin drips right off. This way saves me a lot of time having to sand the drips. Hope this review helps! Thank you.

Smells like cat pee
It works as far as the costume went, though covering it with makeup was a bit of a challenge after it cracked up (which I did on purpose, it was used to add wrinkles to my face for a Rick Sanchez costume).I used it on my nephew for a Slitheen costume, and it was hard to blend the makeup over it. Also, it was hard to peel all of it off at the end of the day. Especially near the hairline. That being said, it did its job as good as it could. Though the smell is atrocious.

Great Stuff, Worked for Making Latex Mask! BEST DEAL ON A PINT
Coming from the perspective of a novice DIY'er this stuff did exactly what I needed it to! I don't have much experience to compare it to but it definitely worked in the process of making my boyfriend's mask for Halloween. I just watched a ton of youtube tutorials and like 4 seasons of Face Off and decided what the heck, let's do it. This is DEFINITELY the most affordable option I found on Amazon though in retrospect I do wish I'd purchased elsewhere online in bulk as I ended up having to run to halloween stores for 2-3 more pints which got very expensive. Still, this is the best deal you'll find on anything that's less than a quart. A pint (same size as this) at Spirit or Halloween City was $18-$20!!! Ridiculous.Anyway, combined with two other brands of latex I used it was all strong, durable, and easy to paint (50/50 cheap acrylic paint and liquid latex mixed together). All of them together came out as a white-ish yellow sort of light fleshy tone. It didn't have as much of a smell to it as one of the other brands I used but that was also a container I'd had for about a year compared to this one which was fresh. I didn't notice much of a difference in consistency compared to the others but I also wasn't paying much attention.Like I said....novice. This is the first time I've ever sculpted or molded or cast anything at all let alone something like this. There are definitely lots of mistakes I made that I'll fix next time around but I hope this was helpful for anyone like me looking to try their hand at FX!
