Great product, great value
Do not leave in direct sunlight, it will warp.Used this to make electronics cover for a bass. After cutting the shape I left it sitting on my bandsaw table for a few hours. When I came back to get it, the sunlight coming through the window had badly warped the material. No big problem. There was plenty of material to cut it again.I know it was my fault, just be advised and don't make the same mistake I did.High quality material. Cuts and sands easily.

As thick as 3 ply pickguard
I wanted a 1 ply black pickguard sheet to glue on the bottom of a wbw 3 ply pickguard sheet to make a 4 ply wbwb pickguard, because wbwb 4 ply is literally nowhere for purchase. This single ply black pickguard sheet is 2.2mm thick, identical to the wbw 3 ply sheet I bought. Stewmac sells the thinner ply sheets that are the same thickness as the middle black ply. This thicker pickguard sheet would work great for a Les Paul Junior pickguard.

Good Value
This was for a pickguard cut out for a strat shaped bass. Two pickup cutouts, some tight radii around the neck and 6 holes for pots and switches. Then the holes were drilled for the pickguard screws –about 1/4” from the edges. It was a chore, but the cuts were clean and the material stayed intact.I used the Dremel Rotary cutter at low speed and a coping saw blade when things were a straighter cut. If it’s your first time, try it on similar material or use a portion that isn’t on your finished line –for practice. Things can go terribly wrong when the dremel walks or chatters. This can be controlled with technique, but it requires practice. Also a drill bit can get a bit too aggressive on this material near the edge and cause breakout. Plastic bits or a glass spade bit are nice to have and cut without grabbing the material. A Unibit also works well. There was no chipping of the top layer and the finished product looks as good as anything coming out of a guitar factory these days. Compared to a Sterling or Ibanez pickguard, it’s on par. I got tortoise and pearl green. Both are very typical of the popular instrument wrap on higher end drums or plastic pickguard material. This plastic doesn’t present like a cheap knockoff. Top layer is pretty thin, but it isn’t just a decal. It’s a plastic layer of durable material with depth and a pearl look to it. It was a GOOD BUY... ok, Good bye

Not really ivory - looks more like mint green
My fault because I trusted the description more than the picture. But I took off a star because the material has green in it. It's a nice color if that's what you want for your project.

Great Color for my 62 Re-Issue Tele
Bought an HB 62 Re-Issue Tele, comes with Cream binding and a white Pick-Guard. Upon Installing a set of fatbody pups, I made a template and routed out a new Cream Pick-Guard out of this Cream color blank, beveled the edges, and it looks absolutely fantastic! The Cream color matches the stock cream binding very well. Highly Recomended!

Nice
Turns out I didn't need this for the project I was working on but I decided to hang on to it as it was really nice quality.

As with all things: measure twice, cut once.
I used this to make a control cavity plate on a project guitar. it worked really well considering I more or less had to freehand the shape. All in all: it was a purchase I'm pretty glad I made

Plastic with a stick on pattern
This item looks great, yet its just a bit of black plastic with the pattern stuck in sheet form. Yes also it has a protective film over it all which you peal off before using. I think the heat from a tool used to cut it will lift the plastic film pattern on the edges.... as this is to be a replacement pick guard for my guitar to finish the edges poses a problem.I am an ex tradesman so used to using tools and cutting most things, if anyone would like to give me a heads up to the best way of cutting this and how to dress the edges I would welcome any advice......

5 star quality.
Excellent product. Easy to cut - file and sand into shape. Now I have a pickguard custom fit for my explorer better than the one that came with the guitar. Highly recommend.

The quality looked good, and I'm sure will be at least as ...
I close up the colouring was harsher and more brash than expected, so won't do for the project I had in mind, however, I'm sure it'll be used somewhere down the line. The quality looked good, and I'm sure will be at least as good (if not better) than other aftermarket scratchplate material.
