Chrome Shift Knob for Hurst and Other 3/8-16 Thread Shifters

A shift knob seems like a small thing in the grand scheme of things, but for car guys who love to shift for themselves it's a 'big' thing. Finding one that has the heft and size which seems to just 'fit' in your hand isn't the easiest thing in the world. I've been through a bunch, and yeah, they all work but being plastic they're too light and too large to be ideal at least for me. This one is highly polished pure steel and as such it has the 'heft' of weight and a size that just falls into the palm of my hand, it's perfect but when left in the sun for long periods in a locked car it does tend to get hot unless you leave a ball cap or something on it. That said, it seems a small sacrifice and I highly recommend it.

Installed on my 1970 MGB GT. Makes shifting a lot easier and it looks great.

I bought this to replace the cheap (and quickly broken) Bakelite handle on my Grizzly table saw fence. Perfect size and perfect fit. Nice!

Bought this on a whim and couldn't be happier. I was surprised how much this added to my driving experience (dorky, I know). Feels great and fantastic quality.
