Amazon Basics Stainless Steel, Recycle Rectangular Dustbin with Two Interior Bins, 40 Litre Total, 25+15L, Satin

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a twin bin for my Kitchen and this seemed to fit the bill. The inside is split in two bins each with basket one is 25l and the other 15L. I Have used the larger part 25l for recycling and the smaller 15l for the normal rubbish and this works well for me. The bins are big enough as although small in circumference they are tall which may be a slight issue for some finding liner bags. I use a 50l bag for the large bin and a 30l bag for the smaller and it’s ok. The bin is quite sturdy and well made. It has handles each side in case you need to move it and the inside bins have a small handle not a metal as in most bins. The stainless steel is not shinny so doesn’t show marks which is nice. The lid is slow closing so you don’t get a bang on final closing. Mechanism and foot plate seem ok. I will have to wait to see if lasts but so far, worth the money looks great and practical.

Decently sized and well made bin we use to separate paper from other recyclables before going in the outside recycling bin. Both compartments have their own removable inner bin for ease of emptying, but I would have preferred a slightly larger bin for our use, but I was aware of the size when ordering so not a fault of the product. Pedals function well.

Ideal size as I don't like emptying the bin daily also it helps me to recycle with the 2 separate bin sections, this capacity could work for a small family too. Appears sturdy and easy to clean plus I think the quiet close feature will improve with the correct size/style liners, good size pedal to operate, hope it remains scratch free. Dissapointing a bin of this price doesn't have proper handles to lift the containers out easily when emptying. Some liners to start you off would've been helpful too. Pleasing, simple styling, fingermark free stainless finish, compliments other stainless in my kitchen, looks stylish for a bin! I researched thoroughly and usually shop at John Lewis but decided Amazon offered enormous choice and price range and this one fitted the bill perfectly, time will tell, my previous Brabantias lasted around 10 years each...

Needed a new bin as the old one broke. Opted for a dual bin to use for recycling and kitchen waste.This one was best in terms of value. Neither too big nor too small and it looks great.We use the larger of the two containers for recycling waste and the smaller one for kitchen waste.The stainless steel finish seems resistant to finger marks and the soft close lid is a nice touch

I really like this bin. It is sufficiently large and provides two sections; we are using one for recycling and one for domestic kitchen waste.-Build quality is good and no dents/dings on arrival.-There are two handles on the sides to move/pick-up the bin.-Foot pedal is reliable and works as intended.-Finish in silver is very nice and suits well in the kitchen- it’s a bin after all!Overall, very pleased and would recommend. 5/5

Handy compartments and good that the recycling section is larger.

looks good i like it has 2 sections in it for rubbish and recycling good size for a kitchen with a small to average size household maybe not big enough for larger families as you may need to empty it often. on average i empty it every 2-3 days with 3 people in the housegood opening and quiet closing unlike previous bin that slammed open and close which was from a more expensive brand

bin is great, but its not easy to find or fit bin bags. Ive found a solution by using a large elastic band to secure the bin liner around the lip of the bin, but it could be better.
