I had some custom doors made that were shipped incorrectly at full width, rather than undersized for my jambs. It was not practical to ship them back to the factory as that was the only defect. I clamped a sturdy guide to each door, 1 3/8", hardwood, and took a 1/4" bite in one pass per door. The finish was perfect: smooth, straight and square. This bit could not have performed any better.

I'm a fan of Freud router bits. This is another great product from them. I ordered this to clean up the hole for my router lift after first cutting it out with a jigsaw. I also used it to cut the grooves for the t track in my router table top. I actually hit the end of a screw while cutting one of the grooves, but this bit never missed a beat and showed no signs of damage from it.

So I was looking for a bit that could make make a 2x4 sit flush in another board. It worked great. I routed out about 10 boards and the bit has almost no damage, so it looks like it should last a while.

These bits are crazy sharp. I only used it on a small job, but it cut nice and clean, threw chips all over the place. I would typically buy a cheaper bit than Freud for what little use I get out of them. Considering how nice this cut compared to some china cutters I have purchased, I don't know if I can go back to the cheap ones.

All my Freud router bits perform flawlessly. I actually bought two bits thinking I would wear one out on a large job. As it turned out I never did take the second bit out of the package.

I didn't realize how dull my old bit was until I used this one. Cuts amazingly! I'll be buying Freud from now on.
