Aloe Vera Gel Organic for Face, Hair, Skin - 12 Oz

La Lune is legit. I would give this product four stars just becuase La Lune has taken the time to contact me, ask me nicely for this review, and even left me a coupon for my next order.The product is exactly what it says it is. You get a 12 oz bottle of pure aloe and three different tops; a screw top, a pump, and a squeeze bottle type cap (it has a little straw-like nozzle that lifts up) which is probably useful when your hitting the bottom of the bottle and your pump can't pick up the remainder.I use aloe as a daily moisturizer. I have oily/combo skin so I usually wear it alone, but it's thin enough you could also wear it under another moisturizer like night cream or sunscreen. I love how it's not heavy or irritating at all on my skin, it's like very moisturizing water. I use it on the rest of my body sometimes too, like my elbows and cuticles, and even in my hair. All good things :)It is very thin, not very gel like like you might be used to if you use seven seas or that green aloe thats cold and good for sunburns. This has the consistency of ..... well... saliva. Not to sound gross or anything, saliva is just the only thing I can't think of that's only slightly thicker than pure water >.> BUT! It's a great product, and the thin consistency just means your getting pure aloe without much else. Also, a little goes a long way.I would like if it were just a bit thicker though. There's sure to be some gentle, natural thickener out there that La Lune could add.

I was religiously using another brand of pure cold-pressed aloe until they started sending bottles that were smelly and deep amber and irritated my sensitive skin… it seemed the batch had gone spoiled. So I tried this one on a whim. I instantly loved it- it makes my skin feel so soft, moisturized and leaves it silky with no scent whatsoever. I paired down my face products and only use an unscented toner, a vit c/retinol serum, and this, and my skin has never been clearer. Generally, my skin is very oily and it does leave a little shine but these days I prefer its even toned glow to the former red/irritated and dry/oily skin of my previous lotions. My skin feels seriously soft and supple. I love the watery consistency and it only takes moments to absorb in. Use it in my hair, neck and chest as well whenever I have extra on my hands. Bonus is the pump system- the former I used was a flip cap and it got gunked up very easily. This does not.

I purchased this to use as a light moisturizer for summer. Other moisturizing creams (Aveeno, Shea Moisture) that I had been using left what felt like a film on my skin, sort of like zinc based sunscreen does. This aloe gel makes my skin feel super smooth and healthy! It is watery in consistency, but I don't mind this because it doesn't leave a sticky residue or film. I use it on my arms, legs and face. I also use it as a leave in conditioner/detangler mixed 50/50 with water in a spray bottle. I am fair skinned and also use it for dark undereye circles and puffiness. Works great for all of these uses. Love that it is all natural, since I am now switching to products with less harmful chemicals in them. The bottle came with three lids - a cap, flip top cap, and a pump. Also came with a link to an ebook with multiple uses for the product. Would definitely buy again. Very satisfied with this product and the company I purchased it from.

Extremelly smooth feeling. We got this to use as sunburn remedy. I got a mild sunburn a week ago, but hard enough to bother me while wearing a shirt. Other Aloe lotions/gels that we tried in the past were very sticky and had additional perfumes in it, which turned into a very strong fragrance. This one is the opposite. When I first put it on I even asked my wife is she had watered in down, because it was quite liquid. But as soon as I put it on the feeling of a cool relief was immediate. I wore it again on the following day, the it truly helped to alleviate the discomfort and get the red color away. Would sure recommend for everyone adults and kids.

I thought that this product was okay...until I started using this product on my face and in my hair and noticed at my skin and scalp were turning orange. Then I had noticed that anywhere that this aloe dripped onto a surface it would turn brown. I had brown droplets all over my bathroom, and realized it was from this aloe when I saw the brown residue all over the bottle as well. This product seems to turn brown when it is exposed to the air, and definitely turns your skin orange as well. I do not recommend using this product on your face or hair, and be careful if you drop any of this gel anywhere, you'll be left with some mysterious brown spots all over your bathroom.I definitely will not purchase this product again. I have been using natural aloe for years and I have never experienced this issue with any aloe products that I have used.

I've made researches to find the purest aloe vera gel and I recommend this one as there is only 0.25% preservatives and thickening agent and that's it, compared to the usual 2% to 4% for other brands. The texture of this gel is more liquidy than other I've used but those probably contain more added thickening agents. Aloe vera works very well to sooth irritated skin, burnt skin. I use it to replace my moisturizing cream. I apply a layer of aloe vera gel on my face first and then a layer of unrefined cold-pressed coconut oil. My skin is hydrated, and I no longer have spots thanks to the antiseptic properties of both aloe and coconut oil!! This bottle of gel comes with a pump wich is very handy and La Lune Naturals will also send you a free recipes book to make homemade cosmetics with your Aloe Vera. Highly recommand!

I can't say it has added fragrance, but it smells like it does. I typically purchase organic and additive free Aloe. This is my least favorite brand so far and won't purchase again. Also it came with an expiration date on it that was less than 2 months from my purchase. It is very thin and watery and smells like a fragrance was added even though it says fragrance free. Perhaps it is one of the stabilizing additives that smells. I wouldn't recommend this product.
