I bought these pie tins specifically for baking my southern pecan pies at Thanksgiving and Christmas. They handle the job well. Of course, they are great for other type pies as well. They are a nice sturdy weight and quality finish. I recommend them to my fellow pie makers.

These pans are extremely sturdy. And, nothing sticks to them, so they are very easy to clean. They are a joy to use, and for the price, they can't be beat.

Used this pan about q0 times and the coating started peeling off and sticking to food.. was heating up Corn dogs and nuggets for the grands and the coating stuck all over the food. Had to throw it all out. Would not recommend

These pans are heavy weight and work very well for pies, which I make a lot. Exactly what I needed.

This two-pan set is a knockout. For less than $15, you get two great quality pie dishes.Appearance and First Impressions: These are nicely weighted--good and heavy--have a thorough non-stick coating, and are more than an inch deep. I also appreciate the extra wide lip that borders the pans. It is really helpful when you're shaping your crust, and serves as an accessible anchor for foil (either to protect the crust while baking, or for covering leftovers).Baking Experience: These pans keep anything from sticking! Pies come out clean, and even cornbread and other baked goods will slide out of them. I also tend to use my pie pans for nachos--just tortilla chips with shredded cheese, stuck in the broiler for a couple minutes--and clean up i sno problem. I just brush all the "stuck on" cheese into the trash before I head to the sink. The thickness of these pans also keeps things from burning too quickly. Made thanksgiving pies in these. Pies baked a good solid crust. Won’t go back to glass pie plates.
