First, the truck GPS part works VERY well, as any Garmin Dezl does. But the dash cam leaves a few things to be desired...1. I would like to have a software update so I can use my phone's Wi-Fi hotspot instead of direct sharing to upload dash cam video.2. I would like the option in the dash cam software to save video to an SD card instead of just saving it in the device.3. The mount that comes included isn't high enough to get the correct camera angle when using a dash mount instead of mounting it on the windshield.This was a genuine Garmin recertified product, it works very well, and in spite of these minor flaws, I still love it.

Wish the Mount didn't pivot as much but it definitely is a good buy

The first unit I bought did not work properly, gutter replacement unit was sent out immediately and so far this one works just fine I love it very accurate it has all the information I need

It’s nice and pretty. But, the maps lack smarts. It doesn’t learn new routing and there’s no contact to notify Garmin that a route is available for trucks. So, if you don’t know the area you’re navigating, the GPS will take you the long way. It tried to have me cross the Delaware Bay on a ferry yesterday. I’m in a truck 53’ trailer, 13’6”, 80,000 lbs. Vehicle profile is set to those facts so I’m not sure what happened. Map efficiency and accuracy I’d say is 90%. It’d be perfect if they worked a little more to improve the shortcomings. For a professional driver mistakes cost time and money.

I have went back and forth on should I buy this or not. Most of the reviews are garbage, or call it junk. Others say its great or at least okay. I eventually bought this to travel through New York city and it has been excellent so far. I enjoy the truck restrictions feature to keep me off low clearance roa as s and the help finding diesel has been a blessing. The first thing I did was update the software, then the maps. Ive used a micro SD in both ports one for the dash cam and one for just general memory just in case it needed it and its been running perfectly smooth so far. The smart phone traffic and finding places has been pretty slick as well. I love it so far, granted it's only been a few days.

I use it for over the road many different states, I drive a 18 wheeler, the Harmon doesn’t work correctly, doesn’t know truck routes

I bought 2 of them for my drivers to use. They been awesome, They love them. For being RENEWED, they came very well packed and I couldn't find any sign of scratches or anything. They looked New to me. Would buy again in a heart beat.

Bought as gift for my hubby who happens to be a truck driver. This was his favorite Christmas gift. He can’t stop raving about it. He showed me the videos the dash cam took during the day & they were excellent. The night videos were just ok - but I wasn’t expecting them to be HD. He’s still learning all of the bells & whistles of this thing. If he has any negatives I will update the review.

This is the first time ever I had a Garmin GPS with a built-in Dash Cam and I am looking forward to get back to driving my bus for those out of town charters. But unfortunately it will have to wait for the COVID-19 virus is more under control before that happens. I am also looking forward to using the built-in dash cam knowing that I have a bit of extra protection in case something happens while on the road. I have heard a lot of positive feedback from my co-workers who have used Garmin in the past and are still using Garmin today as their choice for professional navigation.

Now that the COVID time and the borders are open only for essential crossings GPS says the border is closed when connected to phone. And I wish it had more routing options so far I only saw 2 solid fervent routes max to my destination

I don’t like the way it’s renewing it was very easy to operate at the very first generation it’s complicated to operate now i use it in my truck for my safety first

Came brand new in the box with everything. Very easy to set up and update. Overall great gps from Garmin.
