Sonax Fillmore TV stand, Midnight Black

I have had it for a long time and it look like new stil,l by it !!

Best Buy had the same stand, so I went there with my phone in hand to get them to price match Amazon. I get there and they don't have any in stock. They offer to order it for me and state that it will take "5 to 14 days" to get it in. Uhm ok ... well they're not giving me any grief about price matching, so I was about to tell them to order it. Then I thought ... WTF am I doing? And I go tap tap tappity tap tap on my phone, and it shows up on my doorstep 2 days later. I think I'm giving up on brick & mortar establishments for anything but toilet paper and fresh produce.Oh right the stand...Well, it's not a high end piece of furniture, but it's functional enough. The tolerances on the holes are a bit off. The dowels included were too small for the holes that were drilled for them. And the holes drilled for the screws were all too deep meaning if you bottom them out, you can't turn the disk thingies far enough to lock them. But in the end I got it together, and it's plenty strong for a 55" TV.

I looked at a fair number of stands before this one, and honestly, most of them around $100 are complete junk and aren't rated to support the 55-inch plasma I bought this stand for. This stand is not complete junk, and can support large/heavy TVs, so that's a pretty big plus right off the bat.Now, this is still a cheap stand, so we're talking 100% particle board. Only the front-facing surfaces are finished, and as others have mentioned, the hole for the shelves kind of stick out if you look inside the stand's cabinet because they're tan, and the stand is black.Assembly was really a cinch, probably too no more than a half-hour. Only potential problem is the whole bundle is somewhat heavy, so if you are not a large-ish person you might struggle to drag it around. There were a few small defects from shipping, which is common when you ship cheap particle-board furniture. The end product feels quite sturdy. And the size of the shelves is perfect for AV equipment and Blu-Ray cases if you put the shelves at the middle rung.

I ordered this stand to replace an old entertainment center that wasn't working out. After two tries I managed to put it together (not 100% mechanically inclined) and it is very attractive together with the HD tv. I was bothered that I couldn't spend more since storage space is limited and that is to be expected. I did have lots of things stored in the drawers of the previous entertainment center which are now sitting in the back room. I had to dismantle the product and throw it out but the drawers are still holding all the goodies.One thing I do have against black is that it shows the dust so easily and the other thing is I cannot use my Swiffer spray cleaner because it leaves streaks on the stand that do not go away. So that was disappointing but otherwise it looks very rich and I am happy with it for the price.I would recomment Sonax to anyone who was looking for a decent component stand.

I'm from Chicago and very city oriented. Thus contemporary items are where my artistic interest lay.I downsized, over three seperate moves, from a four bedroom house to a one bedroom condo so space became more and more relevant. This low profile entertainment center looks extremely stylish for the $99 it cost me. The press board is very heavy/dense which I am very pleasantly surprised to state considering the low cost. I have a 52" SONY BRAVIA LCD TV. Its pretty heavy, 85 lbs. This stand has no problem holding it along with my big PS3 (older version), digital cable box, modem, and wireless router. The finish is not too shiny and not too matted. Easy assembly and everything locked into place.Do wish it were four inches taller but I am very satisfied with my purchase. Highly recommend!!!NOTE: My 52" TV extends an inch or so beyond the sides of the stand but still looks excellent.NOTE: Since there is no back panel make sure you run your cables along the rear edges and under the structure as much as possible. Can purchase cable management collars and cable management systems at various stores if you like to have that clean look.

I am pleased how easy it was for me to put this together. There were few writen directions, most of the direction given was pictures. If you can deal with the lack of detailed instructions then you can get the assembly completed with a little effort. The most time you will spend is checking your inventory and setting the job up arranging the parts for assembly. The whole process only took me 20 min.The stand is a lot sturdier than I expected at this price point. It's holding my 47" tv with out any problem and it looks wide enough to hold a 50". I think this stand is a good one if you are looking to invest in a decently priced tv stand, you really can not go wrong with this one.

I am a major Amazon comsumer but I don't write too many reviews. Given how much I read reviews before buying things, I figured I must start contributing to this collective good.Pros:The product looks nice and simple with a minimalist contemporary style.Assembly was relatively easy.Cons:The pictures are slightly more flattering than the product actually looks in person.Not super sturdy. But that is not to say that it is weak. In my case, the middle stands didn't fit in snugly between the vertical pillars. Could have been a one off issue.Summary:All in all, a decent product for the price. I paid hundred bucks for it. So I wouldn't call it a super deal.

This was great for the price. Yes, you can buy better, but not for the money.I bought this for my 46" TV and it works well. There's enough area below for the cable box, DVD as well as my stereo components. The shelf supports could be better so put the lighter stuff on them. This unit may not be tall enough for some applications so keep that in mind. A bit of advice, use some glue on the dowels to strengthen things up, just make sure all the finished edges are facing front before you commit to using glue. This was put together super fast.

We are not expensive people, but this helped spruce up our living room. I do not like Ikea-style furniture (cheaply made particle board that breaks in a few years), but this TV stand seems a bit more sturdy than Ikea options. It looks great and was very easy to set up.Pros:- It fits our 36" TV with ease (with plenty of room to spare).- Easy to set up.- Seems durable (we've had it since October, 2016 and so far, not a scratch, chip, or threat of screws pulling out)- Fits my stereo system quite well- It's not hardwood, but for the price, of course it's notCons:- Glass doors for the front would be nice, but you can find those kinds of TV stands out there tooI would definitely recommend this to others looking for lower priced, quality TV stands/

The quality of this TV Stand is unmatched. It was delivered fast, and in incredible shape. No scratches, dents, or chips. Easy to set up, and very durable. It has endured a lot of moving around (rearrangements of furniture in my living room, being lifted and dragged across carpet). The appearance is top-notch, too. I will turn to Sonax next time I need products like this.

The stand arrived in about 5 business days from B.C and was exactly as advertised. While not the highest most durable quality, it looks great and serves its function well. It required assembling which took one adult approximately 30 minutes to assemble.

Love it love it love it. I've been using this for a couple of months now for my 50inch lg tv and it works perfectly. There's a lot of place for other electronic items like Xbox nvidia shield and tv box. Worth the money and it looks good too. It was fairly easy to assemble. I did it in 2 hours when I got it.

I think they could have labeled the pieces of wood to make instructions more clear. I made many mistakes due to it not being labellled
