I’m a 50+ woman with osteoporosis concerns and a mostly vegetarian diet, and this supplement gives me everything I need in one. It combines nutrients I was already taking separately — magnesium, vitamin D, and vitamin B12 — so the value is excellent compared to buying individual supplements. The quality is also what drew me to Thorne. I trust their clean formulations, and I’ve had no issues with stomach irritation or excess urination, which I’ve experienced with other vitamins. I take these at night, and the magnesium even helps me sleep better. The only small drawback is that occasionally the capsule feels a little sticky in the back of my throat, so I’ve learned to take it with plenty of water. The capsule itself doesn’t have any taste, and overall they’re easy to tolerate. I’ve become a loyal Thorne user, and this product really simplifies my supplement routine while giving me peace of mind about bone health support. While it’s too soon to measure long-term bone health results, I consider this supplement effective because it combines the key nutrients I need (magnesium, vitamin D, B12, etc.) into one, is easy on my stomach, and supports my sleep when I take it at night. It gives me confidence that I’m covering my bases.

Thorne is a great manufacturer of supplements from my experience and based on several personal inquiries of my pharmacists. My opinion. I like the size of the capsule; easy to swallow. A little pricy, but great company and great formulas. I also take their stress B and it’s been great for me helping with energy.

This formula is the best for absorption of the nutrients.

I bought this because it's scientifically proven for longevity, but I’ve only been using it for a short time. So far, I haven't had any issues or side effects. My only complaint is that the capsules are really big and hard to swallow. Luckily, you can just open the cap and pour the powder into a drink, which makes it much easier to take. Too soon to tell how well it works, but no complaints yet!

Seems to be well absorbed . I just can’t swallow large capsules so open and pour powder on soft food. Does not taste great. Anyway to make smaller size capsule for old people like me?

These supplements are great. I was diagnosed with osteopenia and in order to stop the progression this is what was recommended that I take. Show the ingredients to my doctor and she’s like this is perfect. And all of my doctors agree THORNE is a great supplement brand.

Update: I have been taking Oscap for two years. Full disclosure, I also increased my weight bearing exercise and added more calcium rich foods to my diet. I was very pleased with my recent DEXA scan results. I was able to maintain my existing bone density in the femoral areas, and actually improved the density in my spine. This is the first scan that I have had in 20 years that didn’t show deterioration of density. I am definitely going to continue taking Oscap and I would recommend it to anyone who, like me, wants to help themself while avoiding the big pharma “solutions” that have many side effects. Original Review:I bought this to try to arrest the progress of osteoporosis and hopefully build back some bone density. It will be a while before I know it works, but I like the ingredients and Thorne seems to do purity testing, quality control, etc. The capsules aren't too big to swallow easily, which is a problem for me. I take them as directed, with a meal, and haven't experienced any stomach upset or other problems. Nice that I can get this on Amazon, as my acupuncturist has had problems getting Oscap from her usual source.
