If you plan on using propane for this unit, you can run it off a propane bottle, and pay 3X as much as the house propane, or you can hook it up to your house tank. However, you may find that the regulator on your house supply is not sufficient to run the generator. If the generator starts on the house propane, but immediatly dies, it is not getting enough BTUs of gas. The pressure is not the issue, it is the volume of gas that is the problem.
