I was really excited for a variety pack of 40 different flavors of Traditional Medicinals tea. Unfortunately I only got 31 flavors, 2 of the flavors I even got 3 of. And no, I'm not counting lemon throat coat in with eucalyptus throat coat or the original. I got 3 original throat coat, 1 lemon, and 1 eucalyptus. This is basically just someone throwing 40 bags of tea in a box and selling it at a premium. Honestly, I'm fine with that. I'm happy to pay a little extra to have a nice variety with out having to buy 40 boxes of tea. But when I order a variety that specifically states 40 different flavors in the description I expect, at the very least, for there to be 40 different flavors.This would be a 5 star product to me if I actually got what I bought.

The box which is described as a "gift box" (and even more ludicrously as "CAREFULLY AND BEAUTIFULLY PACKAGED" and "comes in a decorative, Blue Ribbon gift box") is a joke. The box is made of a flimsy glossy cardboard with the blue ribbon cheaply printed on the box. Nothing fancy and quite embarrassing if gifting. The contents are good however. Just don't think you'll be presenting someone with an especially thoughtfully packaged gift.

I have really been enjoying this variety pack of teas! I bought this because I wanted to try many flavors before committing to purchasing a bulk order. Because of this variety pack I was able to try flavors I have been curious about and even find new flavors that I love! It has also been fun learning about the new flavors and deciding which ones to drink first.The reason I am leaving a 4 star review rather than a 5 star is the packaging. While other reviews have described a cardboard box with a printed blue ribbon on it, the box I received was an unmarked (partially smashed) white cardboard box. While the product description says that the box is organized by "wellness collections" the tea bags were in there mixed up pretty randomly kinda giving the impression that they threw just whatever in there. This gave the impression that this variety pack was something put together by a seller rather than Traditional Medicinals. Despite the description, this product is certainly not gift ready but it was ok for me since I was just buying it for personal use.Also, there were a few teas pictured that were not included in the variety pack which is not a big deal but slightly disappointing. There were also a few pregnancy specific tea bags that I don't really know what to do with now (Pregnancy Tea and Mother's Milk). I would have preferred other flavors instead of these ones because I will probably just throw them in the tea basket and forget about them since I can't really use them.Overall, great buy to sample different flavors of Traditional Medicinals tea! However, don't plan on buying this as a nice gift.

Of the 40 count, some 20 were - Pregnancy, Mother's Milk, Smooth Move, Throat Coat, Gas Relief, Breathe Easy, and some Detox, etc.. I wanted to share these herbal teas with friends at work (I did share the other half), and was going to buy more - nope. I don't even know what to do with the others. LOL, that sort of rotted.

So we bought this wanting to try a few of the flavors pictured that we could never find in the store. Turns out, they aren't in the package, either. This is not 40 'different' flavors. This is a pack of doubles and triples of their ones you always see, like Throat coat, which we got 5 of! This isn't worth the premium price if we can't actually have what is advertised. And their gift box is a joke. I would be ashamed to give as a gift, so be aware you would need to repackage if you are going that route. Honestly, you can pay slightly less and get other samplers here that are actually as advertised. Will not buy again!!!

A package of medicinal teas is a good idea and makes for a great gift. Unfortunately this package is so badly done that I couldn’t give it as a gift. I had to keep it and store it away somewhere I wouldn’t see it the box. The box is thin and ugly and the teabags are all wrinkled. But it does have a good range of medicinal teas.

I am sad to have to agree with others that have commented on the poor packaging and missing items. It is discouraging because this is a good idea to try the various flavors that Tradition Medicinals has to offer, however, considering the price per item is more expensive than purchasing an entire box of a flavor, for this to arrive with missing units is just bad business.

I wasn’t purchasing these as a gift, but they came in a strange box, a blue “gift” box. I wouldn’t give it as a gift in this box which looks tacky and also upon opening looks like someone just put a bunch of tea bags in a cardboard box. A nice wood or metal box would look nice and classy for a gift. I bought these for my husband to drink hot tea in the winter, particularly for his digestion. There is a great variety, including some echinacea for when he was sick. There are some teas that I have never heard about and will have to research about their benefits. I love variety and sample packs so this appeals to me. It’s a good value for the money.
