Super helpful book to study for the CEN (which for reference I passed first try). If you're looking for content review, this is NOT what you want. This book contains only full length practice tests with a bunch of answer sheets in the back so that you can take each test multiple times. The rationales for each question are super helpful when reviewing the tests! This was my main resource for studying and truly helped me!

I passed my test today and these questions were a huge reason for that!! Worth every penny!!

I used this book and Mark Boswell's You Tube CEN review (free!) and studied for 5 weeks using both. I passed and felt the questions in this test book were generally harder than the actual CEN which is a good thing. Definitely don't rely just on this book alone but it's a great review and gets you used to CEN style questions.

Note that this book is not actually available from Amazon new. It is available from ENA for $79.95. The problems the reviewers allude to have been addressed. There is an errata sheet on the ENA site and the access to the online exams if for four years.

I'm very disappointed in the quality of this material. Did anyone proofread or edit this book?Don't expect clearly written, scholarly, reliable rationales in many of these example items.Often the rationales for the incorrect choices are simply restatements of the rationale for the correct choice. Does that really enhance learning? I would have liked to know why the incorrect choices are wrong.The following example is what prompted me to vent through this review: two choices are presented exactly the same, word for word: a. ... b. Increase in PaO2 level c. ... d. Increase in PaO2 levelOne of these is evidently meant to have been DECREASE in PaO2 level, but which one???There are many more examples of exasperating discrepancies that evidently seemed logical to the self-proclaimed expert item writers. I regret that they have not inspired my confidence. If the test itself is written with the same level of inattention and incompetence, we're being set up for failure.Shame, ENA. (I have purchased this book, not from Amazon but through the ENA.)

The questions online have an expiration and you don't have access to them after a while. Also, the questions in the book are still too far from being real and close to the real CEN exam.
