Deco Brothers Makeup Mirrors with Stand, 8 Inch Double Sided with 7X Magnification, Nickel

OK ladies this one is for you, no lies no outrageous claims none of that "snake oil" sales tactics. This was purchased for my mother for Mother Day. Since I am not one of the beautiful people of the world a regular bathroom mirror work just fine for me. However you ladies an some men use it for grooming or makeup application etc. I must have searched 20 plus different types of magnification mirrors with LED lights or without, 10x vs 7x magnification, portable / not portable, attached to wall / not attached etc.all ranging in price from $20 to $250 and up. Here is my experience with Decobros 8' mirror. The product is very sturdy and has some weight on it so you really would have to work making it tip over or fall off the vanity. I am 6' 2' and 240 lbs it feels study and durable in may hands. This is a 2-sided mirror (normal and 7x) you don't need to use the screws on the sides of the mirror to flip it over just spin it around 180 degrees and "Boom" 7x magnification. This mirror lives in my mothers bathroom / makeup vanity the room itself has no windows and a common bathroom light with 3 globe type bulbs for illumination. My mother nor do I have any problems with the lighting to see our face in this mirror. Works just fine without LED lighting (gimmick). One of many standouts of this product is the full 8 inches circular field of view you can see every pore on your face if that's your "thing". Now you need to be within the "field range" of vision meaning depending on your eye site (this is you were talking about not the mirror) you may have to be 6" to 10" away to see your full face clearly. The mirror comes in a brush nickle (silver) color and the finish looks like it bonded very well to metal it covered. It goes with almost any decor (unless your way out there) and resist finger prints on the base and center post of the item. Now lets talk about shipping because I needed it before Mother's day and didn't realize the far depths of magnification mirrors in the world it took me awhile to pick the right one. So I had to pay for 2 day shipping (it was around $6 more), it would have free for standard shipping. Now with what I have seen with my 20/20 vision and touched with both hands this is all a woman / man needs in a mirror. The truth of the matter is if Oprah or Cindy Crawford endorsed it every woman in america would buy it maybe even two or three have them located around the house, heck put one in the car. But then you also would be buying a mirror that costs 400% markup or 5 easy payments of 49.99. Do your self a favor if it fits within your decor and you like the style of the mirror buy this one first before you buy some cheesy half plastic half metal, 5" LED lighted with anti-fog protection compatible with Wi-Fi and it is voice activated and can search the internet and is endorsed by a Kardashian or whom ever blah blah blah.

I’m very pleased with the mirror for several reasons. Keep in mind that I’ve only used it for a few days. It was quite easy to put together. The mirror of both sides is clear, no distortion at all from side to center. It’s sturdy enough, not tipping over. The mirror sits quite well on my bathroom counter, and I sit to use it. I have bright lighting in my bathroom so I didn’t need a lighted mirror. The 7X is perfect and I’m able to see more than I thought I would. I’ve used a 10X hand mirror with suction cups and I was concerned the 7X wouldn’t be nearly strong enough but it is! Really love the finish around the mirror too - a brushed chrome/nickel. It arrived very well packaged, with styrofoam around the everything so there was no chance of breakage or scratching. Again, very pleased with my purchase. I researched for a mirror for over a week. You just never know what you’ll end up with after reading so many reviews. But gosh, for 20.00 bucks, heck of a deal!

This product works as expected and is well-made! The size is appropriate as it will fit most countertops. Also, the 7X magnification is appropriate as I can see everything I need to see up close and personal. The stylish chrome look fits into any room decor so you can use it anywhere. The mirror swivel is smooth and lubricated well. The mirror is sturdy and there are no sharp edges on this product. You won't have to worry about loved ones hurting themselves with this mirror. I don't know why other products are selling at higher prices because this one gets the job done at a great price point. Even if you haven't heard of the company, as the other reviews have suggested, this mirror is a win-win for everyone.

This is the second mirror I have purchased from this seller. I loved the first one better, because it was a heavier base, mirror frame was wider. and it was a brushed pewter. It was much better balanced because it was weighted. I did end up dropping it anyway and it cracked. So I thought I was reordering the same thing. The second mirror, is very pretty, but much more light weight and very shinny chrome. The mirror is still great, no distortion and a good price. I would recommend. Just be aware you might need to be more careful with handling it.

When parts start spinning or leaning, I just twirl the screws and good as new.

After shopping at Bed Bath & Beyond and Amazon, I specifically picked out this one because the mirror claims to be measured at 9.6 inch in width and 13 inch in height.The mirror arrived on time, free of damage on the packaging and the product itself. I measured it myself and the mirror itself is actually 7.5 inch in diameter, 9.5 inch wide from side to side of the pivot, 12.75 inch in height and 4.5 inch wide of the base. Large mirror/reflection in comparison with similar products on the market which are usually 6-7 inch in diameter. The 1x side mirror allows me to see "a bigger picture" of myself from the top of my head down to my upper chest (more or less like a passport photo size). The 7x side gives a clear reflection when I'm about 6 inch far from the mirror. This is better than I've expected as quite a few other reviews on tabletop mirrors state that one has to be super close to the mirror to see clearly. The mirror also turns smoothly and has a firm grip of the table.There are minor problem with my mirror, though. The alignment between the mirror and the frame can do a better job and there are a few scratches in the base. However, for this price and the positive aspects mentioned, I have no complaints at all.Overall, it's a very decent tabletop mirror and I would recommend it.
