Bought this to assist with cleaning my Ruger 10/22 and also my 5.56mm AR-15. It does a fantastic job on both! I have to admit, due to my idiocy, at first I didn’t realize the lid is a T-handle for the cord, and I could not pull the boresnake thru the barrel. I had the pull-string wrapped around my hand and it was impossible to pull. Then the little light bulb went off and I figured it out. Using the T-handle (be sure to wrap the string around the handle a few times, otherwise the string will be too long), it’s easy-peasy. I love this product and highly recommend it.

Easy to use. I have a Derya TM-22, and had a weird misfire. This boresnake helped confirm it was a squib round!! Having this in my range bag prevented a nasty outcome.

I do like the product on my 10/22 because it easily cleans the bore without screwing a rod together. I carry it in my ammunition pouch. On the range I put a few drops formula 3 gun oil on it and pull it 3 or 4 times through before I leave the range. cleaning done. After a thousand rounds or so I take the gun apart and do the full cleaning cycle. very happy with the product

The best product hoppe’s makes, I use this on my ar15 and it works very well can’t recommend it enough. Materials provide excellent cleaning power. Fits nice in your cleaning kit with its hard case.
