I have purchased other haircut scissors before. I don't feel that they are smooth or always cut the best. The reason I night these was the color, if I'm being honest. However, the quality surprised me! It is by far the cleaner cut I have gotten. The scissors are super sharp and cut cleanly. Not only do they look great, they work great. Definitely a must for anyone cutting hair.

I recently realized the shears I was using weren’t sharp enough for hair cutting. You can test if they’re sharp enough by using them to cut through a wet tissue. If it snags or folds on the shears, they’re too dull. These cut the damp tissue very cleanly and were still sharp after the first haircut. My only critique was that the hinge was a bit squeaky but i was able to fix that with a drop of argon oil (prob not the best, but did the job). Will update with how they perform over time but so far they’re a great deal for the price!Update: sharpness didn’t really last. I ended up buying a new pair about a year later :/

The scissors work fine cutting hair, but what I really like is the unique coloring which makes these easy to identify and use ONLY for hair. the whole family know these are special - not for cutting paper, cloth, crafts, etc.

I only cut my split ends since I’m trying to grow my hair long and these hair scissors work great for that. They’re comfortable and sturdy and sharp! Easy to clean with some isopropyl alcohol after use.
