Ghostek Exec 4 Card Holder Case Built-in Magnet Compatible with Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max – Black

This is the second case of the same case I’ve ordered. I had my last case for a little of over a year before it got too base to fixed. Here is my review of the case after having the first one so long.This is a good case but needs improvements to be a GREAT case. This case can definitely holds it’s own when it comes to durability, I drop my phone A LOT, at least once a day. This case has NEVER caused any damage to my phone and has always keep my phone operating in excellent condition. This case is the only case that I was able to find to fit in my Tesla Model X’s wireless charge station and still able to have a wallet attached to it. That being said, I needed this case to work for me.The VERY VERY first case I ordered, after having it for a couple of months the bottom of the wallet started to become unattached. I contacted customer support and they sent me a new one. Well after having that case for a couple of months the bottom of the wallet part started to come apart again!! This time, instead of bothering to go through the whole replacement process again, I decided I would just super glue it. After super gluing the bottom tabs on the wallet part, I didn’t have a probably with the bottom of the wallet area again. If you decide to super glue those tabs. I suggest putting a toothpick horizontally through the case right above where you super glue. This way the super glue doesn’t keep going into case area.After six month, the wallet area again started to mess up. This time it was because I use a finger ring on the wallet and over time the leather on the wallet started to peel away from the cardboard or whatever forms the leather. Again, once putting super glue to attach it again, it held up just fine.So really once you put adequate glue on this case it will hold up for you. I only replaced it because my phone ring fell off and decided it needed a new one to attach to a new ring to because (guess what) I had to super glue the ring on because after a couple of months the adhesive on the ring wasn’t holding anymore.I guess what I am rally saying is if you have super on hand, and really need this case to work because of your car wireless charger, this is the case for you lol.I have attached photos of my old case and new case so you can see a used on verses new one.

So far so good. I’ve had this for a month now and it’s endured a couple of drops already. In the picture you’ll se there are some raised ridges at the edge, which may have helped with the falls. My screen protector got a bit damaged but but the good thing is the case is a bit raised in the front screen giving it some protection. It’s a bit bulky but it crosses off almost all of the features I want in a case. The cardholder so far has held up to 4 cards without issues but I typically just cary 3 cards. The cardholder is also removable if you want to remove a bit of the bulk and charge wirelessly. I remove the cardholder sometimes because I just really like the feel of a skinny phone. The cardholder has a magnet that is pretty strong. Strong enough that when I pull it from the dock, it pulls the magnetic dock with it from the air vent, lol (might just have a cheap dock). It’s not slippery, the side edges have these textures that allows for a good grip. I will have to be honest though, after a month the bottom portion of the leather came lose, it still held all my cards in but if I were to push down further the last stacked card slips a bit. My solution was to just super glue the lose flaps and now it’s fine. Like with all TPU’s this one is an oil magnet. Personally, I don’t like the feel of the leather portion I can’t tell if it’s grease and dirt combined or whatever BUT at the end of the day it holds more than 2 cards, has a magnet integrated to it and allows you to charge wireless (if you remove the cardholder). It’s taken a couple of falls without issues so for me it’s served its purpose and continues to. I may be asking for much, but I wish it came with protectors for the 3 overly sized cameras. Had to buy a separate protector for that but I typically put my phone with keys. It would’ve been nice if the corner of the camera cutouts were a bit raised maybe? Overall though, this has been a great case! Highly recommend. If you carry more than 4 cards this probably won’t do much for you.

I have been looking for a phone case like this for AGES, and I’m so excited this case (so far) seems to deliver on all points. It looks and feels durable and sleek without disrupting control of the buttons in any way (in previous cases similar to this I had to push much harder than needed to use the volume control buttons which also effected taking pictures). I also LOVE that the wallet portion can easily come off since I use a magnetic phone holder in my car - the magnet would disrupt the ability to charge my phone so I’d have to remove the whole case or struggle with removing the magnet from a pocket. This case is exactly what I’ve been looking for, so thank you Ghostek for thinking of the users in the design of your case.I did take one star off because I accidentally scraped the leather portion of the card holder attachment when I was trying to remove it the first time aaand I now have a nice ole scrape on the leather. While I admit it was user error, it was a bit disappointing that the card attachment is easy to damage (especially since I’m sure more damage will occur in my purse over time).Overall the case looks fantastic and the functionality is exactly what I need.

At first, I was skeptical about paying $30 for a phone case but I am really happy with the results. I love that there is an option to remove the card wallet in the back. The feel of the overall case is amazing as well. The reason for the deduction of a star is because when I receive the phone case, there was an imperfection around the camera area. There was a line dent almost completing a perfect square on the top left corner and I expected for the price I was paying that I would get a smooth sleek phone case. I have a tad bit of OCD and it bugs the crap out of me but I am still debating if it's worth complaining about.
