It replaced the OEM pump and so far, so good. It's been over a year and no issues of any kind with it. I'm giving "Ease of Install" a middle rating, but that has nothing to do with nor is it reliant upon the quality of THIS part, it has to do with the medium degree of difficulty to remove and replace the original part with ANY replacement part.

Overall function of product seems to work well after installing. plastic housing that covers the motor and electrical connection is brittle and poor quality. Electrical security flap broke/cracked first attempt to open. Had to tape it in place after connecting. Connections were easy and so far so good after first load. Purchased due to 1 yr warranty. Packaging was good to prevent breakage but quality of manufacturing of cover above resulted in breakage. Would rate 5 initially if product would not have broke.

It is amazing that I can repair my own washer the next day for this cheap. Quality seems fine; time will tell, but no reason to doubt it now. Would pay a little more if domestic manufacturer could come anywhere close. There is real environmental value in repairing a 10 year old machine that is otherwise in great shape. The cost of repairing machines in the past has sent many good cars and other machines to the crusher/smelter before their time is up. I do have sympathy for the people who have traditionally made a living at repair, part of which profit came from very high parts prices. It is good that those of us with more time and skills than money can do it for less.

WhirlpoolSports duet HTPump arrived very quickly.....but arrived broken in mutiple pieces. Plastic cover that goes over the electric plug was smashed in about 7 pieces. The housing cover is not exactly the same as OEM so it could not be switched out with the new one. The pump fit exactly as it should even through it took about 2hrs to install. My washer is bolted to a pedestal that had to be unbolted before I could get to the pump bolts underside washer bottom. Not the sellers fault so no stars were deducted. The pump operates as it should and is quiet. Overall it works just beaware that the packaging is very poor and is likely going to arrive damaged. I taped the broken pieces together and hope there's never a water leak inside the washer. For the cost difference I believe I would purchase again. I will update my review if longevity is an issue.

So we went thru I believe 4 of these pumps with in a year and decided it was time to get rid of the unit. The pumps work fine but if you use the machine every day like our household does it won't last. But to keep things going it was a great alternative while we saved up to get new units.

I had an f21 code coming up for awhile and after I found out it was related to the water pump I changed it out, it’s not really hard to do but it will make a mess so you need dirty towels to lay down cause there is still water left in the hoses. I’ve washed ten loads with it and so far so good

Order came in fast and we'll shipped. To bad it was the wrong part. I ordered it for a different machine with out the model Number.was able to return no problem for a refund. Looked like a great product also.
