Prince of Scots Highland Tweeds 100% Pure New Wool Fluffy Throw (McKellar)

I ordered 3 of these blankets, in 3 different patterns - love every single one of them. I would say all of them look like they do in the photos - I had no surprises. Would make a great gift. Throws are a great size, very comfortable and cozy. Really enjoying having them :) No regrets.

I tried to get an answer from anyone, including the Seller about the actual colors in this throw and to no avail - so here it is. First - it is a beautiful throw. Worth the money and very warm. This is a true gray and camel gold in color with a little light beige. I have a dark gray and deep gold room and needed exactly these colors. Hopefully this helps anyone else looking for these colors. I will be ordering other throws in this brand in other colors. The online pictures are pretty accurate.

I purchased the Lindsay tartan, I was happy with the quality, I am however somewhat disappointed that the weave makes the plaid appear less like a grid and almost more as horizontal stripes with red standing out the most.

Great to wrap up with on the couch, take on a picnic or many other uses. Well made with attention paid to small details like the edges and the tassels. Perfect thickness. Not too heavy, not too thin. The wool is about what you would expect. Neither scratchy nor inviting. Sort of a neutral feel comfort wise.

The Caleigh Blue is 13 years old - they shrink over time - but they are better and better. The Red plaid is new - I Love it.

I feel a little suckered after buying this blanket. I have nice wool blankets from Filson, Pendleton, and Faribault -- the colors in all those are vibrant and they are worth every penny. I bought this one to give another company a shot. The colors online looked great and it was listed at 3 pounds, so I figured it must be substantial.It's the lightest of all my wool blankets, the colors are the worst, and it's the scratchiest. Besides the yellow, all the other colors blend in to one another, so I pretty much have a lightweight, scratchy, gray blanket with a yellow stripe.Is it a $100 blanket? By all means. But it's not a premium blanket, it's not the premium blanket as touted. I would have rather spent twice the money for a higher quality product.

You know that wool throw you are always looking for but can't ever find in the stores? Well this is the one. Whenever my kitty let's me share it with her it is light but very warm, pretty, and not scratchy. It would make a great gift.

I had high hopes for this blanket. We purchased it to place on a couch for added comfort. However, after just a few months, it is very scratchy and pills up all over. I missed the window for return, so I am storing it as an emergency blanket.
