Just got a new one of these using my FSA funds to replace our old one. We had the older model of this and it worked great for about 4 years and then started reading inaccurately low. I was happy enough with the accuracy and longevity that I bought it again.

I was tired of waking my children up when they were sick to take their temperature. This thermometer allows me to turn it on, place it on their forehead and take their temperature in a matter of seconds without disturbing their sleep.The digital face lights up so you can easily read the results even in the dark.The thermometer shows the actual temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius depending on your preference. Along with the actual reading the thermometer glows yellow for a mild temperature and red for a high fever.The fact that you put it on their forehead and not in their mouth allows you to take several family members temperatures without the fear of spreading the germs.The price is fair for the product.I have not had to change batteries since we have owned it.I like this product and would purchase it again.

This is a nice thermometer that is easy to use. It works quickly to scan for an accurate temperature.

This is a pretty good quality device. Very easy and clear to read. I think it's accurate but it does seem somewhat sensitive to ambient temperatures, so be sure to allow it to adjust to the temperature of the room before using (like all forehead thermometers).

Stay away. This thing is the thermometer equivalent of a stopped clock. It’s right by chance not by design. If you want to guess at your temperature use your imagination—this is not going to help you. If you want to know your temperature this thing is going to be worse than useless. As far as I can tell its readings are random. I have seen 3 degree swings from taking two measurements within 30 seconds. Run away from this POS.

Buy this!! As a nurse I have used many different thermometers. This one is by far the best and most accurate. I actually purchased a second for my daughter (to use for her twins) and have recommended to many of my healthcare co-workwes and friends.

Every home needs one. Easy, reliable, non-invasive, quick, and I assume accurate. Love the color coding; green = no fever, yellow = low fever, red = fever. Can take a child’s temp in the dark, without waking them.

I had very low expectations for this thermometer given the last cheapo one I ordered that is the most popular seller on Amazon was a piece of junk. Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised. I took my temperature, my husband’s temperature, and my baby’s temperature each three times. The variance between each reading was less than .2°. Comparing this to the other thermometer that had over a degree variance between readings I was pleasantly surprised. This thing is very accurate. I imagine people who are having wonky readings need to replace the batteries or make sure they are using it correctly. Is it a little pricey for a thermometer? Yes. Is it worth every penny? Absolutely. I would try this again. Gives me peace of mind. Obviously not going to be as accurate as a rectal temp for a baby, but it gives you a pretty darn good idea as to whether or not you need to give Tylenol to treat a fever. Go ahead and get one. You’ll be glad you did.
