🔌 Power your potential with precision!
The Voltage Converter Module is a high-performance, non-isolated DC regulated power converter that efficiently transforms input voltages from 5-30VDC to a continuously adjustable output of 1.25-30VDC. With a maximum output current of 10A and built-in safety features, this module is designed for reliability and versatility in various applications.

Used in solar application
I used this guy in a solar wifi extender with a panel battery and controller. I didn't want to use an AC inverter just to go back to DC with a wall wort, and this little guy did a solid job of regulating the input power and voltage to the device I needed to run. Golden.

It has a ten turn potentiometer FOR WHAT?
You would think that having a ten turn potentiometer it would allow you to set a precise voltage output. In my case it was 12.00 volts. Well everything is fine at room temperature (70 F) but as the unit heats up which it does...Heat sink or no heat sink. The voltage rises all the way up to 12.24 or more. This is typical Chinese engineering, they can't make any thing right. I found a little diode in the circuit that causes the temperature drift, but its not my job to fix these things.Update: Its not the diode I circled its the other diode that connects to the voltage adjustment pot. In my case I need 12 volts so replace this diode with a one meg resistor, then tweak the pot for 12 volts. The voltage will stay steady.

Nice converter
Powerful and very easy to use. I used this to make a 12v life battery charger using a 19.1v laptop charger. Thumbs up!

mediocre DC to DC converter
Confirmed: its a Up/Down Buck/Bust DC to DC converter. It can increate output voltage above input voltage as well as decrease output voltage below input voltage. My project was to charge smaller lifepo4 battery from bigger one and for this I used constant current (CC) option available in this converter to limit current inrush from big battery to small battery. With output voltage set to 14.4V and input current 5A I saw input: 12.98V*5.09A=66W, output 13.57V*4.16A=56.5W. Efficiency 56.5/66=0.86=86%.This unit has significant temperature drift. I started test in room 72F with AC running. I adjusted without load V_out 14.4V and with load I_in 5A. I let it run for 15 minutes. Unit was very hot, one heatsink was 72C and other heatsink 90C. As unit started to heat up by radiated heat from heatsinks, current and voltage started to drift (probably because resistor used to measure current was getting hot too). after 15 minutes I-in dropped to 4.5A (under the same load) and V_out without load became 15.36V. Drift was about 7% which is a lot.As per spec unit suppose to have over-temperature protection at 65C- I did not observe it. Also was not able to crank input current above 5A.As per spec unit suppose to have current backflow protection - confirmed. Then battery (power source) connected to the output there is no voltage or current present on input terminals. Also wanted to add that wire terminals are low quality and designed for smaller wires like awg 20-18. I'm not happy with 85% efficiency, very hot unit and 5A current limit, will be looking to buy something else. Regards,

Just what I needed

Did not work as advertised
Only output 2 amp at 24 volt.

It’s adequate but not precise.
Really hard to control. It struggles to maintain a stable constant current, and a stable voltage. There is no indication when constant current is active, the LED (there is one) appears to just come on when power is applied. If you just need coarse voltage and current control, it’s fine. If you’re trying to make an adjustable bench supply like I was, I suggest just getting one of those all in one modules with a screen or going for separate buck and boost converters.

It’s ok.
As the other review mentioned. It’s really hard to control. The unit I received doesn’t seem to actually limit current or if it does it’s not able to be increased...also it seems on my unit the initial voltage was set to ~12v, so keep that in mind. The initial load capacity is really low, so a beefy cap is needed if you’re driving a motor.

Buy a Boost or a Buck module, don't sit on the fence.
Very misleading product. It only boost or buck a max of 3 amps even though the power supply was providing a additional 10a. Will never buy again. Will rather buy a Boost or a Buck converter because sitting on the fence is no option for changing a 40ah 3s15p battery and the risk of it blowing up.
