Purchased these cards to stimulate conversation with my husband. We've been married 35 years and just went through a rough patch and needed something to get us talking. I wouldn't recommend for a couple who is prone to arguments though! Lots of questions that pertain to pretty much all areas of a relationship. Some cards kept us talking for quite some time - others were one word answers, we'd laugh and move on. Was fun to sit on the porch with a glass of wine and take turns pulling cards - however, we both had to answer! Being married so long our answers were sometimes exactly the same so we had to make a rule that you can acknowledge that but have to also add to it or add another answer. We had a lot of fun with it. Once we went thru all the questions we gifted it to our friends.

There are several "Shhh, there's no question on this card, ask whatever you'd like" cards in each of the 5 categories. Why? If I wanted to ask my own questions, I would just ask them. Good selection of questions overall and the categories are nice when you'd like to ask certain kinds of questions. But I feel scammed out of a few more genuine questions due to the random "AMA" type cards.

This deck of cards is for couples or partners. It isn’t so much of a group item. The deck of cards have sections (I believe) of individual/love and sex/the past, present and future. It is definitely a deck of cards that you pull out in private considering they are all topics that are adult/intimate conversations. It has questions you would’ve never thought to ask even if you and your partner have asked each other 100 different questions already. Getting to know someone and maintaining knowing them is so complex as is, so this deck of cards makes it easier by having the questions already ready for you. I wasn’t so much of a fan of the sexual questions or topics. That’s just my preference. Everyone is different. I originally came across this item and was open to the idea as my husband and I both have busy schedules and can sometimes lose our sense of individuality. After a long week worth of work and errands, we pull out this deck of cards after dinner with a glass of wine. It’s great for couples who are either fed up with doing boring dates or the ones who enjoy staying in.

So.....I chose to get this as a gift for my hubby and i to play together on Valentines Day. I give it 5 stars for fast shipping and for the good quality. HOWEVER, i do really wish they would have NOT chosen some of the questions to go into this COUPLES game. It should have not included the harsh questions about our past. It brought up old flames, past relationships, including sexual related questions regarding other people, and definitely raised some eyebrows. BAD IDEA for a Valentines Day game. Had i known it wasn't a "soft" game, i would not have bought it. I wish it just stuck with the LOVE related questions including connections, future, family, etc. Instead of ruining my Valentines Day )
