I have been fixing my GE Cafe cooktop knobs in less than a year after it was installed in 2017. I do love the cooktop overall, except the heavy knobs had plastic tube inside over the metal burner shaft...I have figured how to fix those with crazy glue and a tie wraps, and 3 out of 5 were glued and tied together numerous times. It has become my little project to fix keep fixing the knobs instead of ordering an OEM replacement set, which I believe was as flimsy made as the one I have been dealing with.Few days back finally one of the knobs broke off right off the base, and I decided I have ordered this replacement set. I did however fixed the 2 knobs AGAIN, while waiting, just for fun...:)The new knobs fit perfectly, which was my main concern based on some reviews. It seems to have reinforcement aluminum tube over the plastic one, and the finish is metallic, bright and shiny. I have replaced all 5 gas burners knobs, and left out the small knob that turns the ignition unit.The color is slightly different than the original one, that matches the SS surface: it is brighter and slightly darker, hence, 4 stars.Overall, first impression - good value for the money, new and shiny, and work with the light indicators (which are NOT the part of the knob).As for durability, I will update the review after few months time.I wish they had a matching small knob, still a good alternative to the OEM set at 50% of the cost.

Well made, quality material. Better than the original knobs. The original knobs lasted eight years and I suspect these will last even longer.

I ordered 5 of these knobs 2 months ago and noticed one of the knobs finish was almost off and another knobs finish was starting to come off. I contacted Amazon and they forwarded my issue to the company. The seller responded in less then 48 hours and recognized there may be a quality issue in the manufacturing. Without question they shipped out replacement knobs and I received them in less then 2 days. I have to respect a company when they hone up to their quality issues. I would without hesitation order from this company if I needed GE Cafe replacement knobs. Also, these knobs have a retainer ring where the overpriced GE knobs constantly breaks. Can’t beat the “Customer Service and support”

These are more durable than the originals, since the plastic sleeve appears to be reinforced. They look just as nice, as well.

Perfect match for GE Cafe Series (CGP650SETSS).These redesigned knobs are what GE should have provided originally. These are very well designed fixes for the original garbage plastic shaft. They have a full STEEL INSERT and OUTER COLLAR/SLEEVE around the plastic shaft. Great design/modification. The knobs themselves appear pretty identical to original in shape/design/finish.Shame on GE for providing absolute garbage knobs. I think our original knobs failed w/in (2) months.These fortified knobs are the fix you are looking for.

We've replaced 5 of our 6 original knobs on the GE Cafe Range. These are good quality and fit exactly as the originals.

I was very pleased with this purchase. The original part is basically plastic, and the knob fits onto a shaft from the stovetop. In my case, the plastic broke, and I was left with a loose knob that was always going to wobble. The replacement was cheaper than my local GE parts dealer, and was better than the original, in that they have a metal cover for the first 5 mm or so of the part where the knob fits onto the shaft. Meaning that the breakage I had will never recur with this knob. I should have bought 4 more for the rest of the stove, the original knobs are crap, and I am sure I will have to replace them eventually.
