I travel light. There is no sense in taking a full bar of soap on a trip when you'll only use 1/4 of it. These cases hold a half bar (use an axe if necessary) perfectly. When ounces matter, this is the solution.

I used this for a trip and it worked ok. Was looking for something slimmer and not as bulky - it's very wide/thick. Soap lasted well and didn't get mushy, I left the soap in there during the trip but didn't close the container except for when it was packed for travel. If you have a round shampoo/body wash bar this would work well. Mine was rectangular/square so not the best fit.

Size and clasp are good....bought for carrying bar shampoo on extended 3 month Southern African trip and safaris. Besides the colors (pink and blue) being awful (which really is not important), I am highlydisappointed in the hinge...it is just thinner plastic that is one piece with both top and bottom. I predict with even light use this will break and I will be holding it with a rubber band or hair band. I will try to reinforce before I go. This company should really improve on the hinge. Pricy for this quality.
