This is a very sturdy case. It’s a little heavy - about 1 1/2 lbs. I’m impressed with the quality and the appearance is sleek. It’s easy to understand how to use it and the heavy duty cord is an added bonus for traveling situations. The interior is padded with foam so things inside don’t rattle when carrying it. It’s big enough to hold a phone and a wallet or a phone and a small pill bottle. It looks like it can take a beating without breaking open.

This is not the sturdiest thing in the world, With that said: I didn't buy this to be a super secure thing like a gun safe; I bought it because I had a roommate who kept inviting her drug addict friends over and my rx meds got stolen a few times. So having this, especially with the bike-cable-lock attachment point, meant I could put my meds in there, lock it to my bedframe, nightstand, or similar, and people decided it wasn't worth the hassle and left it alone, which is all I wanted.My biggest complaint is that it's not designed for pill bottles -- most of them don't fit, esp if you have more than one. But it does fit a couple of them and other small things and that may be all you need.Now that I no longer have a shady roommate, I pretty much just keep this in the trunk of my car. It's small enough to carry around one-handed and stash in a drawer, and it also just helps you keep your stuff separated from everything else if you're in a situation where you're, for example, sharing a hotel room with friends or whatever and you don't want to have to sort throughout your medications in the bathroom at the end of the trip. It's sort of like a clutch purse, maybe a little bigger than you might expect for something like that but very similar in size and style at least in my opinion, and it fits easily in a bag, backpack, or suitcase pocket.Also, it's really easy to change the combination once it's open, which has not always been true of other lockboxes I've tried -- I've had to return a couple because I wasn't physically strong enough to access the mechanism to change the combo.I wouldn't recommend it if you were really trying hard to keep someone from accessing your stuff because I feel pretty certain you could break this thing without too much effort. In fact, right now as we speak I'm looking into buying one that is more secure, larger and capacity, and harder to break into because that's something that I have to worry about more now. But if what you're looking for is just some basic security, it's a good buy and has lasted me for a few years with no issues.

This is a wonderful little safe, which will hold a cell phone and passport, although not much else. Still perfect for bringing to the beach or other place where you don’t want something stolen as you can attach this to a chair or anything with a rail. It is easy to use your own combination and I highly recommend it if you were looking for something to keep your valuables in while you can’t watch them.

I needed a small safe to keep precious belongings in, including cash. This safe is just right. I like that it has a four number combination dial rather than three numbers. It has plenty of room inside for cash and jewelry. It was easy to set the combination on. And you can change the combination if you like. The cable strap is removable in case you want to strap it onto something while traveling. I got it for use at home, but I can see how it would come in handy if I had to stay in a hotel. It is sturdy. It is perfect for what I needed. I’m very happy with it.

***Before my review, wanted to flag that you should def put this in your carry on and expect questions from TSA. Other reviewers said they had issues with their checked bags after packing this inside, so I carried on. TSA had to take another look at it both directions but it was easy since it was in my carry on.***I just took this product on vacation at an all-inclusive resort in Mexico. It was so handy to be able to stash my room key, phone, and cash for tips. I just strapped it around the pool umbrella stand but a chair leg would work as well. A few times I just had it locked in my bag when there was nothing to strap to, as there’s no way anyone could get into it.It has two buttons- one that pops the cord out and one that opens the safe. When I was heading back to my room or to another part of the hotel I would make a handle out of the cord rather than wrapping it around the safe and it worked like a little purse. Since the buttons are separate, I could easily get into the safe without disconnecting the cord.I received a ton of compliments on this and several people at the pool ordered one right then and there. Although it’s unlikely that someone would go through our stuff at a resort, it gave me so much peace of mind when I was all the way on the other side of the pool area with my kiddo, in the bathroom, grabbing food, etc. It made it so that we could all just enjoy pool or beach time without leaving one person at the chairs to keep an eye out. Best purchase for this trip for sure!!!
