Works as advertised on my 2017 Macbook Pro. I downloaded the device driver from the web site and just followed the prompts. So now I am able to close the lid of my Macbook and use two external monitors. I am able to drag windows from one external to the second external monitor with the lid closed on my Macbook.

Would've given a 5, and actually this is the second of these that I purchase: one for home and one to travel. So the unit is reliable, but in both of them at times the image of one of the screens gets frozen , yet this is solved by unplugging USB from computer and re-attaching it. This is a small nuisance, but I figure it's worth mentioning. Otherwise quality and materials are good and allows me to work with 2 monitors in addition to my laptop, thereby making it 3 monitors which Apple doesn't natively support. So, I would probably buy again if I were to need yet another one.

This is my second external video card from j5Create. The first was a USB 2.0 to HDMI version that I bought approximately five years ago. It is still working great, but I bought this one because I needed two outputs instead of one through one USB port. This thing works wonderfully! I have a total of five monitors, three of which are connected to two computers (personal and work) via a KVM switch. With the KVM switch, my docking station will work wonderfully for weeks at a time and then very stubbornly stop working no matter how many power cycles I do or in what order. It is extraordinarily frustrating. Finally I had enough. I use this card hooked up through my docking station's USB 3.0 port. Whereas my work computer had issues recognizing the monitors through the docking station and KVM switch, it has no issues at all recognizing them through this card and the KVM switch. It works perfectly and without any issues whatsoever. I highly recommend this product. If you need additional monitors for gaming or some other high-demand type use, this is probably not for you. But, if you are like me and just need additional monitors for Excel sheets and other boring business documents, it is perfect.

Was so simple to install just plug and play. That is great in my eyes as I am not a computer person.

I would give zero stars if I could. I purchased this J5Create USB to Dual HDMI Adapter after being explicitly assured, both publicly via the Amazon Q&A section and in private emails, that it would support two external monitors on a MacBook Air with the M2 chip. It did not. Instead, it caused: • Major lag and unusable performance, • Constant glitches and freezing, • And ultimately permanent damage to one of my monitors (an LG 27MP60G-B valued at over $230). After the adapter got extremely hot, the monitor suddenly failed. I immediately unplugged the device to protect the second monitor and my brand new MacBook. Despite over four months of communication and documented email proof of their promises, J5Create’s support team offered only a replacement adapter, for a product that clearly never should’ve been recommended for Mac in the first place. They refused responsibility for the damage and stopped responding constructively. Responses were delayed, repetitive, and frustratingly dismissive. Worse, I was repeatedly forced to re-explain the situation to different support agents, answering the same questions over and over again. It felt like they were just trying to wear me down rather than resolve the issue. I never received proper resolution, just delay after delay. Their own support team eventually admitted the product wasn't compatible with multiple displays on macOS, contradicting the very reason I purchased it in the first place. Bottom line: If you're a Mac user do NOT buy this product. It's not only incompatible, it may also damage your hardware. And if something goes wrong, expect no accountability, no refund, and months of unanswered emails. This was the most disappointing tech purchase I’ve made in years.

Funciona perfectamente en windows y Mac , aunque haya drivers para descargar funciona correctamente sin ellos, el mejor en relación calidad precio que funcione en ambos sistemas operativos. Totalmente recomendable

Compact device that works well with my 4 year old laptop. I was able to extend laptop to 2 additional screens. I noticed that there is a big difference in quality of the HDMI and HDMI 4k. Would be good if they were both HDMI 4k outputs.

Was able to connect two additional monitors to my system that gave me three different working screens and not just mirroring my main screen. Easy to set up. Well pleased
