Kaiyodo Revoltech Yamaguchi NO.117 Alphonse Elric

Revoltech's human designs often fall a bit short for me, but they do excellently well on non-human designs. Alphonse is a great example of their best design, as this figure is immensely poseable and sports an incredible likeness to the anime character. The paint application nails that Alphonse should be shiny and metallic in lots of light, but darker and a more brooding metallic blue when the light isn't cast on him. The points of articulation allow for significantly better poses than the Play Arts/Kai alternatives (which is immediately apparent from the pictures here on Amazon), and he has excellent attention to detail with both the familiar cross on his shoulder and even a tiny blood seal on the back of his "neck" area. There are very few downsides to this figure, but I figure I'd go ahead and point them out. The first is that Alphonse's head seems -slightly- tinier than it should be in scale with the rest of his body. The proportioning on the head is something I think they did their best with, however, as if you bother going back and looking at the anime, it's almost as if his head changes sizes depending on how focused in on it they are or how much they want to draw attention to his character. Very minor gripe, here, and is probably something they couldn't have really done anything about. Another small nitpicks is that his alternate, "embarrassed" head can be very difficult to put on, due to the fact that the neck joint it attaches to has TWO ball joints for maximum articulation, and tends to move all over the place when you're trying to fit the peg into the receded hole on the alternate helmet. The last complaint (which, again, is hardly a complaint depending on what you want out of the figure) is that his overall size is not quite in scale with other figures. He's definitely a hulking figure, but Alphonse is -huge- in the anime, and he only seems relatively kinda big to other figures in the 5-7" range. Overall, though, excellent likeness, excellent paint application, excellent articulation. He comes with a stand, but is surprisingly easy to get into a number of highly articulate poses (that no other Alphonse figs come near) without it due to very good weight balancing.

I am one of those guys who collects figures. I own several different brands of these high quality, extremely detailed figures soooooo I know what I'm talking about, you can trust me. This is a review of Revoltech's Alphonse Elric figure, From the popular anime/manga series Fullmetal Alchemist. (My favorite anime of all time.) The detail on this figure is AMAZING I remember the first time I removed his head to swap it out for the cute one and saw that HE HAS THE BLOOD SEAL INSIDE! I mean, they didn't have to put that there, the head obstructs the view no one would ever see it, but it is there. I know it, and now you do to. Another amazing this about this figure is that his EYES ARE POSABLE! Yeah I said eyes. I had no idea, I had watched a youtube review and several other reviews, no one seems to mention this. I don't blame them, this product does not come with instructions, the back of the box shows it, but the words are in Japanese sooo... yeah. I will provide picture to show how is works exactly. As far as accessories and extra parts, Alphonse come with less that his older brother. He comes with the same "dirt slidey effect" that makes it look like he's sliding in dirt, 4 extra hands and an extra head that looks super cute. No alchemy effects... which is strange considering that one of the poses on the back of the box uses one... but a little higher on the box it shows what is included and there are no alchemy parts, so it's not like the part is missing. Strange... One of my favorite things about Revoltech Figures is the little box that comes with it, the "Revolcontainer." it is used to store parts with out having to dig out the original box from you closet (every one saves original boxes right?!?) to swap out hands or the helmet. The one thing I don't like is that the extra Head DOES NOT fit in the Revolcontainer! So now I have a container containing almost nothing, just 4 hands... seems like a waste, I think I'll use it for another figure that has more spare parts... Anyways... 5 stars! I recommend this figure, but I have to warn you he will be lonely without his brother Edward... Buy both of them!

A bit disappointed with the quality at the price and worst of all, the head is a bit disfigured, not to mention smeared paint here and there. Kind of expected once I read the tag - "Made in China". Overall, I can still accept it though.

Definitely recommended for anyone who likes FMA or just collecting Revoltech figures.This figure is absolutely amazing in my opinion, it's fairly larger than some older revoltech yamaguchi figures I have (EVA Units 00, 01 and 02) and the joints are less visible, which is perfect to display it. All the pieces fit perfectly and are easily exchangeable. Although you can the stand that comes with it, you can also just pose it without it if you get it in the right position. I've read that some people has taken issue with the back of the breech cloh being jointed but it helps improve mobility. Also, another issue people have: the color. It's not gunmetal as in the anime, I'll give you that. Still it's pretty close so that most people won't notice the difference or rather won't care about it. The spikes around the elbows and above the feet as well as the horn are pointy and it gives it that much more feeling of being almost the real deal, but be careful if children are going to handle it.

Jamais déçus avec les figurines revoltech, robustes, dynamiques (le nombre de pause possible est impressionnant). Les finitions sont juste magnifiques et l'esprit du manga est totalement respecté.

Me encanta Fullmetal Alchemist y compré esta figura articulada porque ya llevaba tiempo queriéndola. Queda genial en mi vitrina de figuras y es una de mis favoritas. Hay que cogerle el truco para dejarlo en la posición deseada, pero es genial porque puedes cambiar la pose las veces que quieras y parece que tienes una figura nueva cada semana. Tiene articulaciones en los tobillos, rodillas, ingles, cintura, hombros, codos, muñecas y cuello, por lo que se puede conseguir casi cualquier pose. Trae accesorios como cabezas alternativas con distintas expresiones o manos en varias posiciones (puños, mano extendida, mano abierta) para conseguir la postura que quieras y darle la expresión deseada. La calidad del material es bastante buena: ligero y flexible pero a la vez duro para que la pose aguante de pie. Los detalles de la tela lo hacen aún más realista y trae una base para que en ciertas posiciones (pata coja por ejemplo) la figura aguante en pie. Esta junto con la de Edward Elric, son increíbles.

Al gasto de la figura más los gastos de envio, hay que añadir los de la aduana, total un coste excesivo

リボルテックにしてはどっしりとしていて、エヴァやルパンのような細身のフィギュアと違って安定感があります。 それでいて大きさもウッディ以上の背丈で大変ボリュームがあります。 この体格でかかと落としや跳び蹴り等、ダイナミックなポーズをつけるととても見栄えがよく迫力があります。 股関節もふんどしが柔らかいので稼働の妨げにならず、間接のつなぎ目が隠れるのもGOOD 塗装の粗もなく目で表情がつけられるのも面白いですね。 ただアニメや漫画では槍を錬成して戦うシーンが多かったので穴のあいた武器の持ち手くらいは欲しかったかも。

サンプル画像より青みの強いメタリックカラーで 全高約16センチ、太めの体格もあってかなりボリ ューム感の有る立派な出来ばえ。 可動範囲も広く派手なアクションポーズも決まり ます(^^) リボ球は首(ダブル)、肩、肘、手首、足首、腰巻き (後ろ側)のみ、胴、膝、股関節には使用されていま せん。 胴は前後屈曲と胸側、腰側で回転の3軸、股関節は 前後左右2軸のスイングと腿の回転、膝が1軸の曲 げの組み付け可動になっています。 まぁ‥全高16センチ、肩幅7センチの体格をリボ球 の軸では支えきれなかったとみえます(ちなみにリ ボ球軸は3ミリ、アルの組み付け可動部軸径は4ミリ) 足首、肩のトゲアーマー、頭の飾り、腰巻きの前 側、腹部前面(三角の所)、背面の一部は軟質素材で 可動を妨げない造り。 (肩のトゲは硬質の別パーツになっています。) 眼の可動は顔面パーツを前方へ外し動かす仕組み。 (目玉は顔側についてます) オプションは平手二種各左右の4つとギャグ顔ヘ ッド、地面のエフェクトパーツ、リボコンテナ、 スタンドのみで、錬成光エフェクトはついていま せん。 造形、可動共に映像作品のイメージを上手く立体 として再現できていると思います‥が‥ 動かしてなんぼのリボルテックなので、リボ球を 使っていない可動部がへたりそうなのと、腰巻き 後ろ側の工夫のない水平切分割に大雑派な印象を 受けるので、星4つ。 蛇足‥‥このアル君のバランスだと兄エドは10セン チくらいと云うことに‥先に発売されたエドでは兄 がデカすぎて組み手させるには無理があるかと(ｰｰ;) (あくまでも映像作品から受ける印象ですが‥) …チッチャい可動兄希望、以前11センチ程の「リボ ルテックミニチュア・新劇場版エヴァンゲリオン」 や「リボルテックSFO」を販売していた実績をみる と可能とおもえるのだけど…ねぇ…
