Good for two people. Love it!
I love this popcorn maker. We got the 2.5oz one. It doesn't make a whole lot of popcorn at once but I don't mind doing multiple batches just to keep them fresh and warm. Also wanted to clarify some previous reviews based on my experience: 1. The instructions are pretty clear to me. See pic uploaded. It took me less than 30 minutes to assemble. It also has pretty clear cleaning instructions. 2. I followed the portion instructions and did the first batch and it turned out pretty good. Almost all kennels popped and the kettle was pretty clean afterwards. Now I do think it's easier to maneuver this unit if you have small hands. And it would be easier to clean as well. Not saying big hands can't operate this unit (my husband did it without problems). It is just easier with small hands.

Love this machine!!!
We absolutely love this popcorn machine!!! We have it in our movie area, which creates such a vibe. We ordered the Orville Redenbacher’s popcorn kernels and butter. The taste is amazing and it’s real simple to use. Now if you want your popcorn buttery like I do I suggest that you use 3 or 4 spoonfuls of the butter oil. Just using one will not be good enough. The popcorn is fluffy , hot, and taste just like movie theater popcorn. You can even add your own type of seasoning once it’s done. We tried the Garlic Parmesan and it tasted amazing. Now when you clean it I do suggest taking the top part off as well as the mechanism for the kernels to make it easier to clean. Then once you’re done put everything back on and you’re good to go again. Some kernels did pop out but I had more popcorn than kernels so we were good. You won’t be disappointed.

Smaller than expected. Worked out great for Easter event.

Coca-Cola popcorn machine
Great! Works great no problem with it. I just wish there was something that would pick up the kernels at the bottom because every time you use it is hard to pick all the kernels out of the side. It's also kind of hard to clean because you have to pull the whole thing apart in the middle, unplug it, etc..

cute popcorn maker
This popcorn machine is so cute. It looks amazing in our break room. I do wish I would have purchased the one that is slightly larger. I don't feel this one holds/ makes enough popcorn. It has storage underneath, which is nice I can put everything underneath it. It works great. It does get messy. You have to clean it really well after each use. It pops great, but again not a lot of space. Get the bigger one.

Too small and too much hassle!
Terrible machine! First I didn't even get a manual. I looked at the picture on the box and tried to assemble it myself. It took me 20 minutes and a drill but I was able to do it. Second acrylic door has a crack in from factory. I didn't notice it until I was looking at it to make my first batch of popcorn. Third - The gear that turns the machine keeps getting stuck and jamming up the arm that keeps the popcorn stirring inside. When the popcorn is done, and the gears jam, you cannot even dump the remaining popcorn in the kettle. There is no point to this machine at all. I can make a larger batch of popcorn in a work/cast iron pot then I can in this machine. If you do not want it to jam, use half a scoop of corn kernels, about 1.5 oz, and make sure to keep an eye on it. The gears cannot overcome the friction generated by a kernel getting wedged in between the stir arm and the pot. If that happens for an extended period of time, it could cause the oil and kernels to catch fire. It's just too small of a machine to make any adequate amount of popcorn for a family of 4. You will be making 4 to 8 batches to get a large bowl full. Just not worth the hassle involved. There is too much hassle and clean up and not justified by the asking price. It's mainly for looks not really for making popcorn. I will be returning it!

Definitely worth it
Ive been wanting a popcorn maker for awhile so I ended up choosing this one after some research. I also got it on sale which was awesome. It was pretty easy to set up & well the instructions weren’t so helpful but we figured it out. It was a bit small in height but that’s okay with me. It’s about the same height as my 6 year old.. it is fairly easy to clean and just letting the inside of the of the pot sit with warm water while I clean the inside of the of the popcorn machine (the pot is easily removable for easy cleaning). I also lay aluminum on the bottom of the popcorn machine to ensure that it’s an easier clean up. So far used it for 4 days straight and haven’t had any problems with it. Pops the perfect amount for myself I haven’t tried with multiple people. I also bought the popcorn salt & butter flavored coconut from Amazon. Combo 1: 1/2tsp of Popcorn Salt and 3tbsp of Butter Flavored Coconut Oil w/ 1 cup of kernels Combo 2: 1/2tsp of Popcorn Salt & 3tbsp of Orville Popping & Topping Buttery Popcorn Oil w/ 1 cup of kernels I preferred combo 2 it gave it the movie theater popcorn taste along with it being buttery. Combo 1 isn’t to bad but was struggling to find the buttery taste. Also the popcorn salt, a little goes a long way I believe the 1/2tsp is enough if you like it a bit more salty then maybe 1tsp. The popcorn maker also come with the kernel measuring cup along with the butter measuring cup and popcorn scooper.

Great for parties / not causal use
The Nostalgia Popcorn Maker Machine is a charming addition to any home theater setup, evoking a classic movie night feel with its vintage design and colorful exterior. For families, entertainers, or those who just love popcorn, this machine brings both fun and function — though not without a few drawbacks. What I Loved 1. Large Capacity: One of the standout features is its ability to pop up to 10 cups of movie theater-style popcorn in a single batch. This makes it an excellent companion for parties, family movie nights, or entertaining a group of kids. The quantity it produces is more than sufficient for small gatherings, which makes it far more efficient than traditional microwave popcorn bags. 2. Durable, Safe Materials: Another major plus is the scratch-proof and shatterproof glass enclosure. This adds a level of safety and durability that’s great for households with kids or high usage. You don’t have to worry about accidental bumps or breakage, and it retains its clean, polished look even with frequent handling. 3. Aesthetic Appeal: True to its name, the Nostalgia Popcorn Maker looks like it’s straight out of a retro cinema. It’s a conversation starter and adds a unique, nostalgic flair to any room it's placed in. The Drawbacks 1. Cleaning is a Chore: The biggest downside — and one that may determine how often you actually use the machine — is the cleaning process. Once the fun is over, disassembling the unit and cleaning the inner parts, kettle, and corners can be tedious. Oil splatters, unpopped kernels, and small crevices make thorough cleaning time-consuming. For many, this results in the machine becoming more of a decorative piece than a regular appliance. 2. Dust Collector When Not in Use: Because of the cleaning hassle, it’s easy to let this machine sit unused. It looks great, but it collects dust quickly when not in active use, especially if you’re not popping corn regularly. This can be frustrating for those who like tidy, low-maintenance kitchen appliances. The Nostalgia Popcorn Maker Machine is a fun and visually appealing way to enjoy large batches of popcorn, especially when hosting guests or keeping kids entertained. Its build quality is impressive, with durable glass that resists scratches and breaks. However, the time and effort required to clean it may be a deterrent for everyday use. If you're okay with the occasional deep clean and want something that makes a big impact for special occasions, this machine is worth the shelf space. Great for: Parties, families, home theaters Not ideal for: Daily use, those who want minimal cleanup

Poorly Designed
I’m giving this machine two stars because if you’ve never owned a proper kettle corn machine, you won’t be be able to compare quality and you may just think that this is how kettle corn is supposed to taste. Save your money and purchase a Klarstein or a Cooks Professional counter top kettle corn maker. I purchased both of these for my holiday properties. They’re half the price and far superior. I purchased the Nostalgia machine for my own home. What a disappointment. Let’s start with the design flaws of this machine. 1. There is only one switch which powers both the light and the kettle. Bad move, folks! Most machines have one switch specifically for the kettle and a second switch for the light which acts as a heat lamp and keeps your popped corn warm within the machine. It also looks great with the light on. 2. There aren’t any vents in the glass panels causing your popcorn to become steamed and stale if you don’t remove it all immediately. 3. As mentioned in other reviews the unpopped kernels fly out in masses. The spinner in the kettle does in fact get jammed so you are forced to turn the kettle off midway, reach in with a wooden spoon and attempt to carefully unjam it. You will have burned bits whether you like or not. How many depends on how much of a maverick you are. 4. Do your research and you’ll notice that most home kettle corn machines have a handle on the outside of the machine which allows you to tip the popped corn into the base. The Nostalgia machine has the handle on the inside. The machine is too small for this. 5. Yay! You’ll need to buy a converter/adapter. This machine comes with an American plug only. Add another £40 to the cost of this investment. Other machines include an adapter with a built-in converter and they are much less expensive. The Nostalgia is a nice looking decorative popcorn maker but I will be ordering a Klarstein again for my home. If I decide I really want a portable base for it, I’ll order that separately. It will still be half the price of what I paid for the Nostalgia machine. If anyone from Nostalgia reads this, make some adjustments and this product will be on par with the others. If I hadn’t used it already I would return it.
