These things are pretty tough. I've bought quite a few different brands off the store shelves through the years that advertise this and that, and usually end up disappointed. I have to admit these were a lot better than I was expecting.

These are really heavy duty, the opening is narrower than some other bags but they are really good for items that would normally tear other bags

I'm clearing out my parents' house after their passing. Many years of accumulated stuff to toss. Given the variety of materials I am dealing with -- metal and ceramic, mortar and wood -- I was in need of the strongest bags I could buy. The first round was with the standard trash bags available at Costco. They were OK; plentiful and relatively inexpensive. But there were a few failures (punctures and tears) and I wanted something more robust. So next I went with the huge national brand that described their bags as Ultra Strong, but they proved to be the least capable. They stretched and tore easily. Repeatedly. I decided to move on.That led me to these fine beasts. These bags are TOUGH. They are super-thick, there's no mistaking their heft in your hand. I am confident they will see me through to the end of my work here.If you're looking for bags that are thick and strong enough to stand up to the most difficult circumstances (like my parents' basement) don't hesitate. Get these.

Love these bags. Nice strong and sturdy. The only thing is to watch items with sharp edges that might puncture the bag under tight pressure. And its hard to tie in colder temperature. Besides that ive never had a problem with durability or bursting. Bag are awesome.

So far so good in my uses for them, the box came busted up so I hope it actually has 32 bags and not less..perhaps delivery guy needed one? Anyways they don't have "tags" or "ties" or "flaps" on top opening so to close these up you need to leave some room at top when filling. Easy to open up as well, no nails and it's so thick it just opens for ya.

Let me start off by saying: I have been single handedly cleaning out two entire bedrooms that were hoarded to the MAX! I was using standard 1Mil garbage bags for this project and I’m willing to bet that you found out the hard way that traditional garbage bags are completely useless but if you want to find out the hard way that they are completely useless for the task at hand then be my guest… With that being said I have been forced into throwing away many different materials ranging from metal, plastic, books, magazines, fabrics, and glass. This bag can handle it! I am 23 years old , 6”2 , 205 pounds and I have given these bags all I got! With quality you only pay once...I switched to this brand quite some time ago.I was making a dump run, using another brand. I had typical trash plus kitty litter.That brand ripped in the back of my SUV.This brand doesn't rip.
