First off, the package was not used, nor was it broken.When I first saw the color of this, I was worried I bought it too dark for me. I was going to return it (unopened) but decided to give it a try. WOW!!! This powder is amazing! The color is just right for my fair to somewhat medium skin color. It looks so natural without looking like I have powder on. I first tried using my brush I normally use for loose powder. It went on okay, but after using the very small and very thin pad this came with, I will continue using that. This powder goes on so smoothly and feels great on my skin. I'm super duper happy with it and grateful that my experience was very positive after reading so many negative reviews. I highly recommend this powder. Hope you find great results too.

This powder is light ,it isn't perfect but it does work well for the price point .I would recommend for day time natural look not a full glam

I did get a perfect match even though I didn't try it in person. I just bought it guiding myself with the pictures and the name of the shades. Color matches my skin tone, I like it. It blends well. It has moderate coverage. I would buy it again. It doesn't make my face break out. It was a good price. Easy to apply

This is one of those perfect products that doesn't get enough attention.I love the clear lid so I know which product I am reaching for and the pan size is perfect for a powder brush. The lid opens easily but does not have any issues to stay closed in my handbag.The powder is very finely milled and not cakey. It goes on like a soft whisper with a brush or can be patted on with a sponge or pad to get more coverage and the excess brushed away after application.Because the powder is so fine, it is not necessary to use pressure when loading the brush. I recommend to be gentle or you will either have a mess or you may apply too much powder and need to use a clean brush to remove excess. I also recommend wiping the packaging or keep it in a little sleeve for the handbag to protect the lining. There is no problem with the packaging leaking, it's more about having awareness of the finely milled powder that may get on the outside of the package after I've just used it.I can even use this under my eyes to prevent mascara transfer (I don't like waterproof formulas which flake but the non waterproof can smudge from oils during the day - this powder helps prevent the smudging).The color is true to what you see and does not oxidize with any of the foundations that I use - I mostly use L'Oreal foundations but occasionally use other brands.***********************Bottom line: this powder has all the properties and performance of a high end brand with great (though not beautifully "fancy") packaging and a very affordable price.

Doesn't look cakey or thick.I just use a light dusting around my nose and chin and it doesn't cake or sweat off your face like so many other powders tend to.I had a moment of panic when they changed the compact shape from round to square fearing they changed the recipe of the powder itself but it is the same powder just in a new package.
