This dress is pretty fun :D Still quite flattering! (My dress size is size 14-16)The bust area has SO MUCH room. I'm a 36D and it's very very roomy in there.Not quite sure what to do with the bust. I'll look for some extra EXTRA padded bras. (My shoulders are actually visible in this dress, but that doesn't bother me since I can make it an off shoulder dress!)As other reviewers said, if your top heavy (breasts) this is definitely your perfect maid costume then.It's true that it was wrinkly when I opened it. It's not a problem for me though.The petticoat is actually good. Don't really need an extra petticoat but since I bought one for it, I'm going to wear it anyways lol.Though, the skirt on my butt area is high up! making the dress a little shorter at the lower area. (My butt is 50-52 inches, wide hips.)If you have wider hips and a bigger bottom than I do, I'm not quite sure if that will fit you since it's tight enough for me.Stretch velvet at the top is good for women who have big waists.The headband's lace is kind of not proportioned , but I don't mind. Nothing a stitch would do!

Package arrived way early. Loved the look and feel as soon as I opened the heavy clear plastic bag that has a hanger and snap closure. Excited, I tried it on and no way I was going to be able to zip it. Undaunted, I took it off, zipped it up, then pulled it over my head. Success! It's a bit tight, but looks great on me, and I haven't torn the seams. Hope I can take it off as easily. Hope a hand wash and rinse with fabric softener will give it a more gentle feel. Overall, I am very pleased.

I was very pleased with this costume. I am five foot ten and this costume fit in the proportion/length it appears in the picture. I found that unlike many costumes this one was true to size. If in doubt I would go up a size because the way it is shaped a little extra give would not hurt. What I liked about this costume most was that it was sexy and flattering without being too, too trashy and it didn't look like I was trying to stuff myself into a skinny girl's costume in attempt to be provocative. This costume definitely needs to be taken out and pressed or steamed before wearing. I took mine and ran it in the dryer with a damp cloth for a few minutes on medium heat which helped unwrinkle it. It is no doubt a costume but I thought the fabric quality and overall look was better than I had anticipated for the price. It definitely does not look like a dollar store costume.

Too big for me (5'5", 155 lbs). I couldn't see an easy way to modify / reduce the size either, so I ended up buying a different costume. If you are larger than me, then it might work find for you! Reminded me of more renaissance styling vs. typical french maid.

Somewhere along the middle ground in terms of material and style.

We didn't check the size before we ordered so it was a bit big. If it came in a smaller size it would have been perfect.Only bad thing is the smell out of the bag was pretty strong..almost to strong. To the point you didn't want to even wear it.Suggest airing it out for a few days.

As all cheaply made halloween costumes are, this is a bit itchy if you can't find something to wear under it. However, it fit great and was very cute even on a plus sized figure.

Got for a costume party. Normally xl women clothes but I am bigger in the bust area so I went for the 'full figure'. There was plenty of area on the bust and you can loosen or tighten the waist. Overall flattering and super cute. Fast shipping.
