it works great. I also replaced my stock turn signal lens ...
Installed on my 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Nomad. Fairly simple install. I cut the rear brake & light wires under the seat just before they went into the rear fender (I first had to unwrap some of the electrical tape covering them), and installed the crimp connectors where they were cut. One side is male, the other female, so if you want to ever remove the controller and go back to 'stock', it's just a matter of 'plug & play'.Everything tucked up under the seat, including the load equalizer. Even though I have stock lights on my bike, the load equalizer was still needed. But, it works great.I also replaced my stock turn signal lens with the 'Kuryakyn 2269 Deep Dish Bezel with Red Lens' ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003QSDSFW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) so that I would be legal. You must have RED lights on the rear if they are used for brake lights. Since they were so easy to install and they made my bike look great, I also replaced the front turn signal lens with the 'Kuryakyn 2268 Deep Dish Bezel with Amber Lens' so the front and rear would match. They really look like they were made for the Nomad by Kawasaki. After everything was installed, I am very pleased at how they work. My rear turn signals now function as running lights, in addition to the single stock running/brake light. They also both light up, along with the stock brake light, when I hit the brakes. I enabled the BLINK function which causes all 3 lights to quickly blink 3 or 4 times before remaining solid when applying the brakes.Tools you will need:1. 12-volt DC voltmeter or circuit detector to make sure you locate the correct wires.2. Wire cutter / stripper3. Crimping tool for the provided spade connectors4. Electrical tape to make everything neat when finished.5. Whatever tools you may need to remove your motorcycle's seat.Great product, would highly recommend to all bikers. Follow the instructions carefully and you should be able to install without issue.

I had several poor connections that turned out to be from the connectors ...
2002 Yamaha Roadstar Silverado Limited Edition. The unit works as expected now. The connectors are total junk. I had several poor connections that turned out to be from the connectors on their unit. I ended up cutting all their connectors off (including the ones I just crimped on myself), grabbing a whole new set of connectors from Radio Shack and soldering the wire tips before crimping the new ones on. A good test tug on each says they are rock solid. I built a "Y" splitter for my blue POWER wire so I could send one tap to the tail and one tap to the 4710. With these mods, everything is golden.

Works perfectly but read my note regarding having LED signals and a single indicator light.
I bought this for my wife's bike to replace one that had failed after an accident. Because our first one came with the Triple-Whammy run, turn, brake kit, this replacement plugged right in. I only had to swap out 2 connectors because of the way the old one was connected. Her old bike was a 2004 750 Honda Shadow Aero and the new bike is a 2015 750 Shadow Aero so we were able to swap out the parts but the module did have wire damage on it from the accident.Note: If you have a bike with a single turn signal indicator light, you will need to wire a diode into the circuit right by that indicator light. Until we did that, we had 4-way flashers every time we turned on the turn signals. This was caused by the fact that the front signals are LEDs and combined with the single indicator light, the module back-fed the current through the indicator and caused all 4 lights to flash. A $7.00 fix but it took over an hour to pull the windshield and signal lights to get at the wiring. Works perfectly now!

Terrible product quality control.
I purchased this brake light flashed based on features and the Kuryakyn reputation. I installed it according to instructions and it simply failed to function. I called Kuryakyn and the tech rep said it must have a poor internal connection. I returned it to Amazon and ordered another. I installed this one, again following instructions, and it worked. Yea! I rode that afternoon then took a day long ride the next day. Riding buddy said it really stood out. Two days later, went for a short ride after work. No lights! Headlight, brake light, running lights and turn signals all out. The whole lighting system shorted out. Traced it back to a dead short inside the Kuryakyn brake flasher controller. If I hadn't repaired the lighting issue myself, it would have been a very expensive repair at the dealer. I'm going with a different product!

Best electrical item I ever purchased for my bike!
Solved all my problems. I had converted my bike to LED lights and never could get the run/turn part working correctly. This little gem was easy to install, small enough to locate easily, and works all the time. My visibility increased 200%. It has been installed for over two months now, still fault free. I recommend this item to anyone.

Kuryakyn run-turn-brake controller
Received within three days of ordering. Enclosed instructions were very clear and very easy to understand. All of the module's wiring was clearly labeled. Easy to install in about thirty minutes requiring little mechanical or electrical ability (installed on a Kawasaki Vulcan 900LT). You do have to have an electrical probe to identify three wires on the motorcycle to splice. Functioned flawlessly. You have to separately order clear turn signal lenses and red, single-circuit bulbs (Kuryakyn carries both).

Worked as expected. Cheap construction though.

Another great idea from Kuryakyn to make our lives easier!
I love this product!!! I purchased it for my 07 Honda Shadow Spirit. What it has done for my rear visibility on the road goes without saying... I'm much more visible now. I now have 3 running lights, 3 brake lights and both turn signals function... it works like a charm.Installation was pretty easy. Usually if there are wires involved I cringe, but this setup could not have been any easier to use. It's pretty straight forward. It even comes with a load equalizer for your LED's. It's a very cool idea by Kuryankyn, yet again.
