Got this as a side gift for a friend. Plant was super easy to grow. Reacted just like video to touch! Cool to see it 'die' then come back 'to life'. These would be great stocking stuffers. Would totally recommend for all ages.

We have loved these little plants. I bought them for my boys for Christmas. When we read the directions it said that you need to keep the plants warm (I think above 73 degrees) and that they need sun. These are both rare in Utah so I bought a grow light.The package had many seeds and my kids soaked all of the seeds even though the directions only want you to plant 3 seeds in the container. So I went and bought more containers to plant the rest of the seeds in.Almost all of the seeds sprouted. I put three seeds in the container provided (I bought two of them) and they started growing right away. A week later I planted the rest of the seeds. They were soaking for a whole week. Oops. I planted the other seeds in bigger pots since that is what was at the store. Those also started growing right away. Now it has been almost 2 months and the plants in the containers provided are growing so slow and do not look good. I wonder if the container is too small and the water dries out too quick. We do water them (with a spray bottle) a couple times a day. The plants that are growing in the bigger containers are doing great.We have had fun watching these plants. Friends and family that come over enjoy them as well.I gave a 5 star rating because given proper sun, warmth, nutrients, and water, they are easy to grow and have been a lot of fun!!!

Bought as Xmas gifts. Lasted about 6 months, but before that they needed to be transferred to bigger pots as they grew so well.

This was a Christmas present for my grandson. He has been wanting one for a while. He loves it but says it takes too long for it to grow. i can't help wondering if perhaps the chilly temperature in the house has something to do with it?

Grew very quick....and died quickly too.Great gift for others. But wouldn't recommend for own home.

These Zombie Plant party favors were bought to go into my two year old grandson's Christmas stocking. He loves to plant seeds and watch them grow; however, the seeds can't take took long to germinate or he looses interest since he is only two. We started to plant the Zombie plant seeds and I realized they needed to be soaked overnight in hot water. So, we put the seeds to soak and my grandson had to leave.I was worried they would not last until he came back four days later but they did. The seeds had begun to sprout in the water. So, we gently scooped them out and planted them. Two days later they were poking through the dirt. How thrilled that little guy was! He is having a ball watching them grow and soon they will be big enough to wilt when touched.This was a perfect little gift for our little guy! Thanks so much TickleMe Plant Company, Inc.

A big hit in our house! These were the party favors for my son's Plants v Zombies-themed 9th birthday party. There are no PvZ branded party items, so it was great to find "Zombie Plants" with at least some connection. We threw a little bit of candy in the favor bags, too, but I was happy that I didn't have to send everyone home with a bag of cheap, useless plastic stuff that would just get thrown away. Parents liked the original idea.As for the seeds, they were easy to plant and they sprouted and grew quickly. We did follow the directions and soak the seeds overnight before planting. We kept the pot in the kitchen and added a little bit of water each day. It was only about a week before we were able to make the plant "die" by touching the leaves. The leaves folded up and the step drooped. The response of the plant was quick, clear and entertaining. My children were delighted. The pots are small enough to sit in a window sill and the plants do fine with just a few hours of sunlight each day. There are three little plants growing in the pot that came with the kit, so we put the rest of the seeds (maybe 10-12) in another pot and they're growing well, too.After three weeks, the plants are all doing fine, but even if they died for real, we got our money's worth.

Followed the directions and still nothing happened. Extremely disappointed as we were really looking forward to this addition to the plants throughout the house
