AwESOMe RFI BEAD CHOKES!!!!
AT LAST!!!!!!I have been dealing with for the last 12 months and chasing down RADIO FREQUENCY INTERFERENCE (RFI-EMI) from within our high efficiency furnace that was constantly covering the CB// 10m band on my HF radio for communications. Could not hear ANYONE!!! weaker than an S7 for incoming as the RF signal emitted from this furnace was between an S7 and S9 on my radio RF meter.. while the blower motor itself was running-- the wiring harness within the furnace (THINK of ANTENNA) was emitting a constant high-pitched whine strongest @ (27.455mhz) that made it impossible to hear anyone while furnace was heating ... Shuttimg down a Furnace = Not an option in the cold Northwest WI winters!!!!!Thought I would take a chance with these.. and after reading some reviews, some claimed they would not filter out Frequencies above 20 MHZ??? well those reviews were WRONG--- at least in my experience..Installed several (I Think 7-8 ) different RFI SNAP chokes EVERYWHERE along the wiring harness of the actual HVAC blower motor HARNESS... the longer the wires are, make sure you snap these beads tightly as they attenuate (CHOKE) any radiated signal. I used large and medium Ferrite beads.. The longer the wires are the more crucial that you break the INTERFERENCE signal up by slowing it down with these magnetic beads, sometimes throughout the harness I would go every 5 to 6 in" to ensure this would absorb any emitted RFI..I would also attribute shielding and wrapping the MAIN BLOWER FeeD WIRES with aluminum FOIL AND 2 layers of 3m electrical tape to resolving levels as well..but had LIMITED SUCCESS WITH FOIL + TAPING... With these MAGIC ferrite ring beads, End results are 90% RF interference gone within the furnace itself and I have little to no emmtted frequency showing up at my radio location!!!!Do not forget the longest HVAC wires in the system, YOUR FEED WIRES to THERMOSTAT are CRUCIAL use these beads. Theres 2 more on these as well.Awesome stuff, TRY EM FOR $10Good luck out there friends and if this helps even one person resolve any interference issues on the HF band around 26.5 to 28.5 MHZ , then it was worth reading to do your research73's,,,, Racing Ricky

Good!
Nice to have a bunch of these around to resolve some RFI issues in the ham shack. I wish there were a mix of different ferrite materials, but I did find that I was able to knock down noise in the shack a few S-units (on the HF rig) with these on some power cords to the wireless router and on cables to my computer. Don't forget to add one (or a few) to the coax coming into the back of the rig to suppress common mode currents being picked up by your antenna lead. Different ferrite materials will perform better on lower bands than higher bands, so check online to make sure you're getting what you want - not all ferrite cores are the same!

Work well at HF frequencies
As an amateur radio operator, I try to keep a good selection of these things available. They are good for taming stray radiation on unbalanced transmission line in the HF bands. They also work on power cords and computer interconnection cables. I have had limited luck using these to quiet RF noise coming out of some appliances. Most all devices that plug into the wall power at my house now have one of these on the cord. I have also successfully used six or eight of these in a row on coax lines as RF chokes to quiet down stray RF and to prevent the coax feed line from affecting SWR. These are available in various sizes and assortments.

Better than expected
These were perfect for my needs. The inclusion of different sizes was ideal.I actually used these as kind of "weights" for some USB Type-C cables that I wanted to hang behind my desk in a retractable fashion, and these worked perfectly.

Wrap your cords as many times permitted around the choke before closing.
I used these on my feedline point of my g5rv antenna and it helped reduce stray Rf.they work .

Buy a different brand!
They work for what they are intended for. They removed the static from my LED headlights to my radio.....and now the but. The plastic is brittle. Several of them were already broken in the box, so there is no folding them over and snapping them shut. The broken ones are still usable if you can get a couple of zip ties around them to keep them closed, but you should not have to do that. Buy another brand.

Easy to install
Had a lot of static in my truck radio after installing LED headlights, these little jewels cleared it all up . I added one to each B+ line and the static noise is eliminated totally . Will be adding LED tail lights soon so I got the full kit to be ready

As described for size and variety.
I received the items and immediately found the size that would fit on the USB cable for my dash cam. Which since I hard wired it last week was causing noise on the AM band of my car radio. I tried one ferrite piece first and it helped a bit then I tried a second and it helped a little more when I added a third it caused more noise than before? So in my case It has not totally get rid of the interference as I had hoped but it did help a little. If I find another use for them I will add whether they help or not.

Nice selection, good price
There's a nice selection of sizes in here and they are a good price. They work well as far as I can tell, and they aren't too hard to clip on.Hopefully, you find this short review helpful.

Might Work
Got these as a last-ditch effort to eliminate noise interference from my graphics card over an unavoidable ground-loop, and they did absolutely nothing.3 stars because my situation is incredibly bizarre and my issue could be with any one of a dozen different components/cables so I can't reliably say if these actually work or not.Installation was fairly easy across all sizes. They can slide a little bit on some cable sizes, but for the most part stay wherever they're clamped.

This is a super deal!
I'm very happy with this kit.The value for the $$ is excellent!I literally pay 6X more for 1 piece locally. The 5 sizes are awesome for so many projects using different wire sizes.I do recommend this kit.
