I've used SA's products for years and have NEVER been dissatisfied in any way. The flyline cleaner & dressing is a solid example of the SA quality. My last bottle and applicator pad lasted two years of frequent use and does a terrific job of cleaning and dressing the fly line. I've been flyfishing since age 14 (53 years) and guarantee anything Scientific Anglers manufactures is going to do the job well! Dressing the line at the start and again every couple of hours keeps the slime & gunk off your line and makes it really fast thru the guides.

Not disappointed, but I haven’t really noticed that much of a difference. But I’m still new to fly fishing, I didn’t know you where supposed to clean fly line! I guess if it makes the line last longer then it’s worth it but idk, if you’re just using Walmart fly line or something then not really worth it.

I had issues with the order, very complex so I will not expand on here. Bryce Reifer and Gabe resolved my issues and concerns fully. My actions in resolving this issue compounded the problem. Really easy squirt a little on the provided sponge pull line through works great

I have only used this twice but it seems to work as advertised. Fly fishing in a high pollen area during this time of years coats the fly line in pollen quickly. You can tell the line beginning to drag and catch. I applied the line dressing as directions indicated and a lot of grime and gunk came off the fly line. It is two step process. I used the included patch to put the dressing/cleaner on the fly line and a dry soft micro fiber towel to remove it. lots of grime was removed. Line seems much "slicker" and flows through the eyelets much better.

Works as advertised
