I was hesitant to buy this as I didn't want it to be cruel to my dog, but I was so tired of her barking at my neighbor every time we spoke over the fence, we couldn't have conversations anymore. That all stopped immediately after a use of the collar. I do put it on her every time she now goes into the backyard and haven't heard a bark since. I was surprised how gentle it was, just the vibration and beeping sound was suffice for her to be quiet. I did play with the shock part of it and due to confusion of the directions, I jolted myself at the highest jolt more than twice. I reread them a few times and sorted it out but that was unpleasant. I have the shock part on a low level of 2 and that seems nice and delicate for my dog as I even tested it then on my face and it was fine but indeed a sensation. I'm quite impressed with this collar and the price and quality. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. I would like to stress that this is a super gentle product if you use it that way for your dog.

Our cocker spaniel mix has always barked at people walking by other dogs ect . This collar has helped ease the annoying barking - and I like that I can just set for vibration and or both . However , we didn’t have it on her the other night and she barked and it went off without it being on her . So it worries me that if we are on a walk and she doesn’t bark but other dogs do then it will release the shock.

I like that we can set how the sensitive the collar is and whether or not if we would like it to shock. My only problem the collar is that it reacts to my kid's voices and one time it just randomly went off, the tv wasn't on, kids were in bed. Dog was laying on the couch sleeping and the tone just went off and then buzzed him. It only happened once but we've been very careful to only have it on when he goes oitside, which is where he does 90% of his barking, and I will say that he is no longer barking.

This is the 5th day and all is great. First day I used sound and vibration. That worked. Next day the sound and vibration didn't faze her. ..she thinks I can stand that noise and vibration . 3rd day shock at 2 and she thought what! 4th day no bark at all and she even laid down and waited. Today didn't even need the collar. No barking and waited for her bite like a good girl. It is truly a miracle. I can eat in peace. Buy this it really works. I hope now all I have to do is show her the collar.

I got rid of immediately!!! If dog barks one time the collar still follows through with all three disciplines. Ill explain,I put this collar on my dog because he barks at everyone who walks past my home FOREVER......-So i put collar on him.-As soon as he let out his first bark he heard the tone and stopped barking immediately. Great product right, worked wonderfully.... ??NO!!!!!!- the collar then continued to vibrate him 3 seconds later and then shocked him 3 seconds after that !!!3 seconds is a long time !! He already heard the tone and stopped his bad behavior so why is he now 3 and then 6 seconds later being chastized further and more aggressively ?! Its confusing for the dog and its cruel !! This collar should NOT be used!!Find a collar that shocks the first time and stops when barking stops. This way your dog learns the proper behavior right away, without any confusion and isnt tortured by unnecessary discipline.

Unfortunately I just returned this. It started out great, the vibration seemed to slow my dogs barking down but after about a month, it just stopped working Fortunately I was able to return it. If you happen to get one that continues to work, it did help for the initial period

One of my dogs growls a lot. It has low to high adjustments and I have only had to use the lowest one. It beeps very loud when he growls louder than he should. He immediately stops at the sound. I have not had to use anything but the high pitch beep. The battery lasts forever. It is well made and does not cause any irritation on his neck. The only thing that is wrong with it is that the collar part is really long and he has a small neck, so there is a lot of excess collar hanging loose.

This is my second go around buying an anti-bark collar. My first try didn't work out well. My dog is a 5:30 a.m. barker, which aside from annoying me, I am sure goes unappreciated by my neighbors. After day 1 with this collar we get 1 bark and then he stops. I also love that you can use just vibration and do not have to use the shock part of the collar if it is not necessary. I also love that I am able to recharge it instead of the unending purchases of batteries. Best purchase this year!
