Husband installed it for me. Hard to stretch but it needs to be tight.

This sewing machine is over 50 years old and still going strong!!The best part about this belt was that it was super easy to install, unlike the more rigid belts that make you think your fingers are going to be cut off due to the tension.After seeing how well this belt was to install, and the difference it made in the machine running, I picked up an extra one to have on hand as we’re making hundreds of face masks for friends and family.

This was an older Kenmore and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find a belt to fit, but it fit perfectly!!!

I was desperately searching for a replacement belt for my mother's vintage Singer sewing machine and, based on another person's review of this belt, decided to take a chance that it would fit. The description said it stretches from 13 to 17 inches, and when I initially saw the package, my heart sank because it looked so small. But, true to the description, it fit perfectly with no difficulty installing it. I am making face masks for family members and hospital personnel, so I really needed to have this. It arrived quickly, was not expensive, and I am so happy I ordered it!

Worked great and was easy to install on my vintage Kenmore 58 machine...but it broke after 4 months of moderate use. Maybe this is typical, but thought I'd get at least a year.

I found an old Brother sewing machine at a yard sale that looked exactly like one my mother had decades ago. I got it more out of curiosity. The motor belt was stiff and misshaped, so I found this belt online and ordered it. It arrived when promised and I was able to quickly remove the old belt and put on the new belt. That done, the machine was back in working order.
